Here is your easy ALDI meal plan for the week of 10/16/16. Pick up everything on the shopping list below, then start cooking on Sunday! Hope you find it useful.

Note: I try not to repeat the same recipe here more than once a month, but you will see favorite easy recipes come up again on these weekly ALDI meal plans as the same meats and produce items come up on sale again. ?

ALDI meal plan week of 10/16/16 – 10/22/16

Six complete dinners for a family of four for $60.00

Note: Prices are collected from this week’s ad and my local store, but may vary by location. I’m assuming here that you already have pantry basics like olive oil and spices on hand.

Six Easy Dinners from ALDI for $60.00

  • Sunday: Slow Cooker BBQ chicken drumsticks. (Slice an onion and place in bottom of Crock Pot. Place chicken on top, pour in a bottle of BBQ sauce, and cook on low for 5-6 hours.) Serve with baked potatoes, grapes, and Steamable sweet peas. (After dinner, shred leftover chicken for Wednesday.)
  • Monday: Specially Selected pumpkin potato or wild garlic potato gnocchi with Priano pesto sauce. Sides: Half a bag of SimplyNature organic spring mix with Italian dressing topped with dried cranberries & walnuts, plus orange slices and L’Oven Fresh garlic bread.
  • Tuesday: Tacos made with easy homemade taco seasoning & ground turkey, served with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, diced onion, diced tomato, and sliced avocado. Sides: Apples & grapes plus the other half of your bag of organic salad.
  • Wednesday: Use the leftover shredded chicken from Sunday to make BBQ chicken pizza with your Mama Cozzi’s dough, a thin layer of BBQ sauce, mozzarella, chicken, & sliced onion. Sides: Spinach salad with walnuts, plus grapes and oven roasted broccoli.
  • Thursday: Slow Cooker Pulled Pork on hamburger buns with BBQ sauce, topped with mozzarella and thinly sliced onions & tomatoes, if desired. Sides: Oven baked potato wedges, apple slices.
  • Friday: Pulled Pork stuffed acorn squash topped with mozzarella or cheddar. Sides: Orange slices, sauteed green beans with walnuts & garlic.
  • Saturday: Leftovers — or date night :)!
