And, print $1.00/1 here when you allow the app and send a card to a FB friend. If this turns out to be a price or store e-coupon that we can use manufacturer coupons with, $.99 is a great price for Planters peanuts — will update tomorrow when we know for sure!

Things to know at Dominick’s

Just a few things to know:

  1. Dominick’s does not let you use a coupon on the “free” item in a buy one, get one free sale. They will not let you use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale to get both items for free.
  2. Many Dominick’s will only let you use one OYNO Catalina per transaction. Most no longer take Catalinas or  Register Rewards from other stores unless they are for a specific item. Their official policy says no.
  3. Sign up for Just for U for additional e-coupons and “personalized savings.”
  4. Just for U common questions and answers here.
  5. Are Dominick’s Just for U e-coupons store or manufacturer?
  6. Link to the current coupon policy here.
  7. If you shop at Safeway, Vons, Genuardi’s, or another Safeway affiliate, your prices may differ from those shown here, but Catalina deals are 90% the same.
  8. You cannot stack  paper manufacturer coupons with manufacturer e-coupons on Just for U. Dominick’s does not choose to identify which e-coupons are store and which are manufacturer.
  9. Dominick’s, unlike Jewel, gives individual stores tremendous leeway about coupon policies, so you will not see consistency between stores, and not all stores follow the official policy.
  10. Dominick’s has a new Mobil Gas Rewards program. Read more about that here.

  1. Lynda says:

Yoplait Cat: Buy Any Variety Yoplait Yogurt Cups Between 1/28/13 and 2/24/13 and save up to $2 on a future order with coupon. Includes original, light, light thick and creamy, thick and creamy, whips, lactose free or simplait. Buy (15-19) & get $1.25 OR Buy (20) or more and get $2 coupon off your next order. (All items must be purchased in one shopping order.

Also, I got a printout for Lean Cuisine deal at Doms: Buy Lean Cuisine varieties using your store loyalty card now through 6/16/13. Earn $2 grocery reward (good at next visit) for every 5 Lean Cuisine varieties you buy. (Purchases can be made in multiple trips. See reward for restrictions and expiration date). Save by redeeming the reward on your next shopping trip. Only one reward will be issued per transaction. Limit 10 rewards per participant. ….oh, and then this small print says “participation by invitation only” which is super weird. So I guess YMMV.

  2. Diane says:

If anyone sees the Heinz Ketchup price, could you post? I could use some ketchup!

  3. feelgood says:

Looks like the J4U produce discounts (3/$10, $3/15, 20% off) are no longer being offered. Read on a few Safeway boards that no one is getting them anymore. :-(

I had $3/10 or 20% off produce for the longest time, now they’re gone, too. Does anyone still have a produce discount on their J4U?

30% off bread or rolls is still there.

And a new one on my J4U: 5X points for buying gift cards! Every $20 spent on gift cards = .10/gal off on gas.
From my experience, Dominicks and VISA/MC gift cards won’t earn points, just about anything else will.

    • trish says:

I have one almost every week.Used 20% off last night.
Expired yesterday so we shall see what today brings.

    • rachel says:

I have the 5x points thing too, but no produce. On the site about the gas rewards, the gift cards part says: Excludes American Express, PayPower, Mastercard, My Choice, Dominick’s, Visa, Only 1 Visa, NetSpend and RE-loadit Cards. I’d much rather have the produce discount, but oh well!

      • ashley says:

When I just went on I have produce, bread, salad, yogurt, fruit, meat, frozen pizza, cereal, butter, juice, and dry pasta 30% off coupons, and a $3/10 produce coupon. Maybe it depends on what you buy?

  4. susie says:

it looks like the planters peanuts is a store coupon, meaning we can stack a manufacturer coupon and get the peanuts for $.99 :)

  5. Rosa says:

    For the hallmark matchup
Can i use there e-coupon for $2/3 & stack it with a printable coupon of buy 2 get 1 free?

    • rachel says:

It depends on whether their e-coupon shows up as a manufacturer coupon or a store coupon. The ones that say “$ off” usually are so it just may work — let us know :)

  6. Inna says:

Great deal at my Dominick’s on Got2b products. $2 off coupon in today’s paper and some of the products were on sale for $2.74!! Others were B1G1…still a good deal!
