Things to know at Dominick’s

Just a few things to know:

  1. Dominick’s does not let you use a coupon on the “free” item in a buy one, get one free sale. They will not let you use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale to get both items for free.
  2. Many Dominick’s will only let you use one OYNO Catalina per transaction. Most no longer take Catalinas or  Register Rewards from other stores unless they are for a specific item. Their official policy says no.
  3. Sign up for Just for U for additional e-coupons and “personalized savings.”
  4. Just for U common questions and answers here.
  5. Are Dominick’s Just for U e-coupons store or manufacturer?
  6. Link to the current coupon policy here.
  7. If you shop at Safeway, Vons, Genuardi’s, or another Safeway affiliate, your prices may differ from those shown here, but Catalina deals are 90% the same.
  8. You cannot stack  paper manufacturer coupons with manufacturer e-coupons on Just for U. Dominick’s does not choose to identify which e-coupons are store and which are manufacturer.
  9. Dominick’s, unlike Jewel, gives individual stores tremendous leeway about coupon policies, so you will not see consistency between stores, and not all stores follow the official policy.

The ad doesn’t say. Usually it’s four or more, but sometimes it is in groups of four. If your store has a self checkout you can try and then cancel if not :)

does anyone know why in windows 8 I can no longer click on my Just 4 U coupons? I have to use my IPad now to click my coupons…

    • says

Their coupons appear to be powered by coupons.com so I’d try this?

If you have recently upgraded to Windows 8, you will not be able to print coupons from coupons.com across all browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) while operating in Metro mode. The coupon printer uses an Active X control that has been disabled by Microsoft in Windows 8 Metro Mode. To print coupons in Windows 8, users will need to visit coupons.com from a browser opened in Windows 8 Classic mode. To switch to Classic Mode in Window 8, navigate back to the desktop by selecting the desktop tile, then launch the browser of choice as you normally would.

  2. maggie says

I have Knorr Homestyle stock for 2.49, but also a separate 1.00 off coupon. Wonder if they will both come off… Anyone else have this?

    • MommyGio says

I shop at Dominicks often. If you have a price specifically for you and a $ off on your Just4U, they will both work. The only ones that tricky are using a just4u $off and a paper $off coupon. :)

  3. Pam says

ugh…I would totally do the giftcard deal if it wasn’t for the fact that they force you to spend $50 in order to use the $25 OYNO that prints out! It’s hard to spend $50 there at one time!
