Buy four save $4.00 juice sale

No prices listed. Would it kill them to list prices? I’ve listed a couple reported by Safeway blogs in store, as their deals start on Wed. Our prices are not always the same here, so check shelf. Anyway, see if you have a Just for U price for any of these, because the savings will come off that price instead of the high everyday price.

  • Capri Sun. Like them on Facebook. Click “elecciones” on left. Click the green “cuentanos” button and enter some weird food combo your kids like. Click the “enviar” button. Click “recibir cupon.” It’ll print you a $1.00/3 in both English and Spanish (limit one per computer). Out of prints. ANYWAY, Safeway blogs list the after instant price on Capri Sun as $.99 (100% juice not included), so if we get the same in IL, this will be a good deal.
  • Ocean Spray cranberry (shows 100% juice in picture).
  • Mott’s apple juice. Use $2.00/2 from the MDA booklet. Safeway blogs show this at $1.99, if we get the same price, $.99 after MDA coupon.
  • Clamato.
  • Welch’s grape juice. Safeway blogs show at $1.99. Use $1.00/1 in the 9/25 SS. There’s $1.00/2 in this week’s Ultra ad.
  • V8 V-Fusion. Print $1.00/2 here.
  • V8 V-Fusion smoothies. Print $1.00/1 here.

Also look for tags in stores because often there are additional items.

Things to know at Dominick’s

Just a few things to know:

  1. Dominick’s does not let you use a coupon on the “free” item in a buy one, get one free sale. They also have now decided that they won’t let you use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale to get both items for free.
  2. Many Dominick’s will only let you use one OYNO Catalina per transaction. Most no longer take Catalinas or  Register Rewards from other stores unless they are for a specific item. Their official policy says no.
  3. Sign up for Just for U for additional e-coupons and “personalized savings.” You can no longer use paper coupons with JFU e-coupons. Although sometimes they randomly go through.
  4. Link to whatever the current coupon policy might be, here.
  5. If you shop at Safeway, Vons, Genuardi’s, or another Safeway affiliate, your prices may differ from those shown here, but Catalina deals are 90% the same. Dominick’s in Illinois no longer allows the stacking of manufacturer e-coupons with paper manufacturer coupons, and neither do many Safeways — they’re phasing it out as they roll out Just for U in your area.
  6. Dominick’s, unlike Jewel, gives individual stores tremendous leeway about coupon policies, so you will not see consistency between stores.

This is how ridiculous Dominicks is:
Me, “I don’t understand my receipt. Could you please explain it to me? My Oscar Meyer discount does not seem to be right”
customer service, “I don’t know either. Here is all of your money back and take the food.” What? Ok. ;-)

    Hey, Rachel.
Can you help clarify something for me? I went to purchase the pop tarts last week as stated here (and you are great… thank you with all the help) I had the 1.49 price as a Q on my card. (It was in the weekly ad as a q also, but I never got that insert w my CT last week so added it to my card instead.) Now, I thought it was a Dom Q. At checkout the q on card came off, but my man. q for 1 off 3 didn’t. She told me that I can’t use a q from the card and paper one, but she tried to scan after a bit of why not from me and no luck. She called the manager via phone and the manager said no. What is the policy on this? I thought I could use store and man q on one product at Dom. Am I wrong here??? I have had to go to CS everytime I go in that place to correct something. They act like I am always wrong and have to state what I know about their policy to get any action. I do it with a smile on my face and very nice about it, yet they are so reluctant to change anything. I didn’t bother over a dollar this time to speak with them as time is money and I had my 4yr old with me. Any info you can provide regarding this type of transation would be great. In the meantime, I am not returning to Dom. until they are a bit more customer and coupon friendly unless I use the paper qs. lol

They are so confused on the electronic coupons, and I don’t blame them. The ones that are the same as in the ad are store coupons, and you should have been able to use the $1.00/3 Poptarts coupon with the one you loaded. They get confused because they ALSO have manufacturer’s coupons in Just for U, which you cannot use paper coupons with.

Kelloggs has been using the new style barcodes on their coupons and they have been beeping all over the place. If it had both barcodes on it they can cover up the new one and scan the old one and it will go through. If it just had the new one on it and didn’t scan they would have to punch it in manually.

Thanks, Rachel. I should have printed out the info on my just for u and coupon center so I could have used as a reference to aid the cashiers. Dom. needs to simplify their system for the cashiers as they are the ones caught in the middle and have no knowledge of what’s on our cards. Lesson learned. Thanks. I justed printed out the new additions to my card hopefully to make my next trip go a little more smoothly. ;0)
