Nine-time Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Natalie Cole and legendary jazz composer and pianist Ramsey Lewis perform this special outdoor summer concert at Ravinia Pavilion. The daughter of jazz legend Nat King Cole, Natalie Cole rocketed to stardom in 1975 with her debut album Inseparable, featuring chart-topping single with “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love).” A string of hit singles followed, including “I’ve Got Love on My Mind,” “Our Love” and “Someone That I Used to Love.” Living jazz legend Ramsey Lewis is a Grammy-winning performer-composer (with hits like “Hang on Sloopy,” “The In Crowd” and “Wade in the Water”) who first came to fame with the Ramsey Lewis Trio in the late ’50s and ’60s. In a career that has flourished for more than 50 years, the three-time Grammy winner has recorded a staggering 80 albums, seven of which have been certified gold. For this Ravinia Festival concert, Cole and Lewis will be joined by special guest alumni from the RSMI Program for Jazz.
