Disclosure, disclaimer, and privacy

Mashup Mom is a personal blog written by Rachel Singer Gordon (firstname.lastname@example.org). It focuses on money saving and money making strategies for moms… and everyone else!
Mashup Mom also contains numerous deals and shopping scenarios. Given the number of variables involved, I can make no guarantee or warranty that these deals will work as advertised; you shop at your own risk. Some scenarios are taken from other blogs or elsewhere on the internet; it’s impossible for me to personally run each deal, so they have not all been tested. If errors are brought to my attention, I’ll make every effort to correct them as soon as possible. Mashup Mom always welcomes feedback.
Mashup Mom contains both advertising and affiliate links. My policy on posting affiliate links is to only post those links to deals and sites that I would have posted regardless, and to keep all content relevant to YOU and to the focus of this blog. Affiliate links are not always specifically disclosed as such. Ads are labeled as ads, and giveaway posts and reviews always disclose if I received a product or anything else from the sponsoring entity. Opinions in reviews, giveaways, and every other post are 100% mine. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.
Affiliate links and ads are what allow me to continue providing this information to you, free of charge. When site visitors click on an affiliate link and make a purchase or other action, Mashup Mom receives some small compensation.
Mashup Mom is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
Mashup Mom does not give out any personal information on site visitors, with the exception of providing address and other contact information for giveaway winners to the sponsoring organization. Mashup Mom will never rent out or otherwise share the email addresses of subscribers. Any personal or email information you yourself provide in comments on the blog, Facebook wall, or twitter, however, is visible to anyone who visits; you are responsible for the information you put out publicly on the internet, here or elsewhere.
