Runs 12/30/12-1/5/13 only. Limit one per household. Valid in AZ, CA, IL, MI, NM, KY, NV, WI to adults of legal drinking age.

1. Beringer California is on sale at CVS 2/$9.00, and they do the 10% off if you buy six or more bottles. So buy 12 for $48.60 (+ alcohol tax) after 10% off. Send in for the $27 mail-in rebate for a net cost of $21.60 for 12 bottles, or $1.80 a bottle.

What to know at CVS

If you’re new to CVS, ECB stands for “Extra (Care) Bucks.” Here’s what to remember:

1. ECB are store coupons and can only be used at CVS. They are also tied to your own CVS card, so if you get an ECB or store coupon that prints out at the price scanner or register, it will only work for your card.
2. Always scan your card at their in-store price scanner, because bonus coupons print out there when you do so. Keep scanning until it says no coupons available, because sometimes it prints more than one set.
3. Sign up for their ExtraCare emails with your card number and you’ll get a bonus 20% off printable coupon, plus random emailed coupons throughout the year.
4. At CVS, % off coupons and $/$$ store coupons can be used before any other coupons.
5. Buy yourself a green bag tag for $.99. Attach it to your reusable bag. Every fourth shopping trip that they scan your tag, you get a bonus $1.00 ECB. (Note: you’ll only get the credit for one trip per card per day.)
6. ECB always roll, meaning you can use them on any other ECB-generating item and they’ll still generate new ECB.
