So… This morning I stopped at Ultra Foods and did three quick transactions on the way to yoga, then stopped on the way back from yoga and did four more. It’s so much nicer now that Catalinas print at self checkout. :)

glutenfree

Random notes:

  • They were completely out of plain green box Nature Valley by 8:30 AM, but had tons of the other flavors on the shelf and in a display on the first aisle as you come in.
  • Some of the roasted nut crunch are gluten free! But some of the sweet n salty have dairy, so check ingredients if you have food allergies.
  • Not all varieties are included — I know that pecan crunch is not, because it rang up $3.39 and I had to take it off my order and exchange. They aren’t tagged well, so price scan if you’re not sure.
  • The double dip worked great! Through 1/26, get $4 back when you buy eight participating GM products, including Nature Valley, AND get $3.00 back when you buy five Nature Valley.
  • Lombard had a huge pallet of 30 packs of Capri Sun back between produce and the deli, $2.99 with $1.00 peelies.

kelloggsbooklet

I bought the nature valley protein bars and they did not give me the $4 OYNO. There was a sign right below the protein bars. Customer service gave me a gift card for it instead. They did ring up at the 2.00 price so I thought I was ok.

I love how you display all of the goods. You look like you work for General Mills! I hope my Ultra has stuff tomorrow because it is too cold to run across town today…..even for a “double dip”. Also, is that Green Giant frozen spinach? I had hoped it was included. Thanks.

  3. Outlander says

So, only through 1/26? I was gonna go on Monday or Tuesday, but maybe I should go tomorrow. Especially if I hope to find anything. :)

    • says

The GM Catalina runs through Wed., but the Nature Valley only runs through 1/26, so the double dip on that ends then. So if you’re not doing nature valley you have longer :)

I got one of those “not a redeemable coupon” that printed with my $3 from nature valley. It said the GM $4 back goes until 2/5. ( I’m guessing I got this because my $4 didn’t print)

I also got the “not a redeemable offer”, i bought green giant and hamburger helper . The cat lists betty crocker, old el paso, progresso, pillsbury, totinos, and yoplait .i wonder if mine didnt print because i got the helper, which was not listed.

    • says

Hamburger Helper is “Betty Crocker Helpers,” believe it or not :). I think they just didn’t get some item UPCs entered in which is messing up some people’s orders — Helpers are listed in the ad as participating, so they should have given you $ back at customer service.

  5. Maria says

I got 6 green giant frozen vegetables and two progreso soups may didn’t print tha manager give me $4 cash but I had to wait for 15 minutes the were really busy at customer service.
