It might have been an email promo. Groupon sends out credits and codes randomly to select users — I don’t have one, either. :)

Yes, it was via an email I received this morning from Groupon for $10 off a local deal over $30 purchased today through Sunday.

Does anyone if you currently have a subscription for home delivery if you can order another subscription for the same household for a different name? the reason I ask is because I am currently paying $1.99 per paper for Sunday delivery ($103.48 annual). I would much prefer to let that subscription run out and get a new one through Groupon.

The last time that they offered this, I signed up for a new subscription in my sons name and added 2nd floor to the delivery address. No problems with delivery.

I am considering doing this deal but very hesitant from the recent posts of missing inserts from home delivered papers. I feel like Saturday mornings in Menard’s is still my best bet. Does anyone agree or have strong positive feelings towards home delivery?

From comments here and my own experience, inserts anymore seem missing as often in the store as in home delivered — although in the store at least you can look through before purchasing. It’s gotten a lot worse everywhere since they stopped putting them in plastic bags. I get one delivered and also buy at DT every week.

The last time i did this they refunded me because we had too many papers delivered already.. i tried the second floor thing.. crossing my fingers.. certainly don’t want to pay 2.99

Has anyone received their subscription yet? I already subscribed to the newspaper but signed up using my sons name and added second floor but haven’t gotten the second paper? I ordered mine on Tuesday May 20.
