I really should have passed on the tiny cauliflower since it’s up to $1.68/lb — I’ll check ALDI later in the week to see what it is there! But notes on Pete’s Market:

  • The $3.00 off 10 participating Centrella tomato products was coming off automatically at the register — they didn’t have to punch in the coupon.
  • The ad WAS switched — canned tomatoes are $.25 after $3.00 savings on the buy 10 sale, and the veggie juice is $.99.

What I got today

10 cans Centrella tomato paste, $1.00 after instant savings.
Cauliflower, $2.44.
5 pack garlic, $.98.
Mushrooms, $1.48.
Sourdough bread, $3.29.

Paid $9.40. They also had bakery samples galore, including little cupcakes — Mr. 5′s lips are STILL blue from that experience, but he quite enjoyed it.

I went to Wisted’s this morning and did the Centrella deal on the tomato paste/sauce and pasta sauce. Awesome!! I left with 50 items and only spent $15. These are items that I use regularly in cooking and you can’t beat the price! I will be doing this again before the deal is gone.

I know! I grabbed the paste first because you hardly ever see it on sale and I have more canned tomatoes left than paste — will do inventory and go back :)
