This week’s Big Lots ad includes various Hasbro boxed games “featuring Toy Story 3 Operation” at $5.00. They do not take manufacturer’s coupons — however, you can price match at either Target (you’ll need to pop by Big Lots and grab a paper ad) or Walmart (you don’t need the ad, but I’d print out the page for proof). Use the $4.00/1 from the 9/11 SS or print here, and you have yourself a $1.00 game of Operation!

(Thanks, Tara!)

I ran over to Walmart to pick up a couple of Operation games for a Christmas give-away at church, but they didn’t have the Toy Story 3 version. Boo! But I walked through the clearance area and found two Monopoly games (Championship Editions) on clearance for $5. Using my $4 coupons, I purchased Monopoly for $1. I’m happy!

I tried to buy 2 of these at the New Lenox Walmart and they wouldn’t allow me to use a coupon on top of a price match. The woman in CS who was waiting on me was going to allow it, but the woman working with her in CS insisted that they couldn’t accept a coupon on top of a price match, and they also said I couldn’t use a coupon for a “regular” Operation game on a Toy Story 3 Operation game. They wouldn’t even try scanning the coupon to see if it would work.

For those of you who were able to do this — did you go to a Target or Walmart? did you buy the regular Operation game or the Toy Story 3 version?

What a deal!! I printed out several coupons on the same site that had the operation coupon. I took my Big Lots flyer to Walmart. The flyer said “assortment of board games up to $19.99 value” I chose games matching the coupons which were all $4.00 off. I got 2 scrabble games, 1 operation game,
1 scrabble scoop game (age 5-7), one Life, and one sorry all for $7.00 which was completely tax. Christmas for the grandkids for frreeeeeee. Yay!!
