I really want to get them for my son, but the cheapest I’ve found online is $39.95 with free shipping from BN.com. I am considering buying a gift card for myself and taking the extra $10, but then I’m stuck buying more overpriced things…. lol.”

  • Maria shares: “Didn’t get my grocery ads today. Went to the post office and they told me they will be delivering them Thursday because of the Veteran’s Day holiday.” Wow, that is lame! Mine are hand-delivered and came on Tuesday like usual.

Amazon

Christmas trees

  • Jessica warns: “Just a quick warning. I used five star last year when it came up as an Amazon Local deal. I was thrilled to have a tree delivered, but be warned, they are TINY. I bought a 5′-6′ tree, had to put it up on boxes so it looked remotely tree height in our little sunroom, and complained the rest of the season that we had gotten a christmas bush.”

  • Sara liked them too: “I bought some the year before last (in fall 2012). I like them and still wear them. I bought a sweatshirt and a pair of sweatpants. I still wear both. The sweatshirt is not quite as thick as the one I bought in my college’s bookstore years ago (2001?) that I am also still wearing. But for the price, I am happy. Plus, I don’t live there anymore, so buying from the college bookstore isn’t quite as do-able as it used to be.”
