Reader deals 2/17/15

CVS

  • A deal from Linda: “Just want to share with you that I scored a pretty good deal in CVS.  They have Dove Men’s body wash on clearance for $3.24 (sorry I didn’t get the picture!).  Together with the $1.50 off $5.00 body wash CVS coupon from the magic coupon machine and the $2 Mfr Coupon, I bought 2, paid 3.24+3.24-2-2-1.5=0.98 for 2 bottles!”
  • From Julie: “The Huggies/Pull-Up deal is even better with the $2/$10 CVS printable from the same site as the $2.50/1 CVS Pull-Ups coupon. The magic coupon machine also spit out a $2/$10 huggies for me. I’m going to see if they will accept both the CVS printable and the magic coupon machine coupon since I’ll be over $20 with 2 packs of pull ups and a pack of wipes.”
  • And another one from Julie: “Also, a possible moneymaker on toothbrushes and toothpaste if you received and coupons from the magic coupon machine. I got a $3/$10 toothpaste, toothbrush and floss. I got 2 of the colgate Total that are on sale free after ECB this week, and added in two 3-packs of CVS toothbrushes, which are apparently on an ECB deal that is not in the ad (possibly a monthly deal?). They are on sale for $2.49 with a $2 ECB back. Here was my transaction:
    Buy 2 Colgate Total @$3 each = $6
    Buy 2 CVS 3-pack toothbrushes @$2.49 ea = $4.98
    Sub-total = $10.98 – 2x$1/1 colgate -$3/$10 magic coupon machine coupon = $5.98 with $8 back in ECB’s ($4 each for colgate and CVS)”

Lands’ End

Magazines

  • A suggestion from Connie: “I use Magazines.com and Blue Dolphin all the time. They start reminding you to renew about 3 months before the magazine is done because it takes them longer to process renewals. If you’re not planning to renew with them, just make sure the auto-renew is turned off and ignore the emails.”

Meijer

  • A heads up on the Goody elastics deal from Jackie: “Merrillville had shelf space for 100+. When I got there at 1pm, not one.package.left. so don’t waste a trip there.”

Reader requests

  • cj is curious: “Has anyone received their Cottonelle Roll Covers yet? It feels like a while since I ordered mine and cannot get into my account.”
  • And a question from Kate on Facebook: “I was wondering if you had heard of any Chicago area Targets that had gone higher than 50% off on the Valentines Day merchandise?”
