There’s a Dollar Tree ad in the 5/19 Chicago Tribune. Here are a couple of highlights, noting as always that selections can vary by store:

• BBQ Essentials including Koop’s regular or spicy brown mustard, 42 oz Arizona tea, Wyler’s 6 qt drink mix, multipurpose lighters.
• Snapple to Go drink mixes.
• Colgate MaxWhite toothpaste — my store also has MaxFresh, so print $1.00/1 here to get it free.
• 2 pack Zest bar soap.
• Speed Stick. BOGO in the 4/28 SS expires today.
• 14 oz Palmolive dish soap. Use the $.50/1 in the 5/19 SS to get this for $.50.
• Note that their Softsoap hand soap is now down to 5.5 oz instead of the normal 7.5 — NOT a deal.
• Scotties tissue. Put in ZIP 12345 and then reload the page to find $1.00/2 Scotties tissue to get it for $.50.

Just ran out quickly this morning — my CVS “use a $10 off $50″ plan was thwarted due to the Starbucks misprint and stuff being out of stock, but did OK nonetheless.

Fruity Pebbles, $1.77. Used $1.00/1 printable (no longer available).

Had a 30% off coupon from email, which took off $3.04. Paid $1.50 and got back $5.00 ECB for the monthly deal. Net cost, made $3.50. So for the day, I’m up $3.39 — and this should push me over the next Beauty Club $50 so I’ll get another $5 next time, but will count that when I get it.

Stopped by the Villa Park Dollar Tree today to pick up some newspapers, and here are a few deals I spied.

Post Shredded Wheat, $1.00. Use the $1.00/1 Post Shredded Wheat printable for free cereal. (Note the $2.00/1 in the 4/28 SS says 10 oz+, and this box is 9.25 oz.)

Nissin Chow Mein, $1.00. Use $1.00/3 in the 3/3 SS to get three for $2.00, or $.67 each.

Goya beans, $1.00. Use the $1.00/5 printable here to get them for $.80 a can. They also had Hanover beans for $1.00 — I’ve seen coupons for these in the past but can’t spot any current ones.

And here’s that elusive Challenge butter! There were only two left, which I actually meant to buy and got distracted, lol. My loss, the next person’s gain. Sign up here and print $1.00/1 if you want to hunt for these.

And look, eggs! They are one dozen medium, but that’s OK — for weeks when eggs aren’t at sale anywhere, good to know.

Bugles would be $.75 after the $.50/2 in the 3/24 SS.

They have Popcorn, Indiana! Note — I’ve seen sites suggesting to use the $1.00/1 in the April AY to get this free. That coupon is for family size bags (4 oz+), and these bags are only 2 oz.

2 oz Speed Stick deodorant — so use the BOGO in the 4/28 SS to get them for $.50 each.

Ok — sorry, guys — after reading your comments I am pretty sure that it is sun and not sunlight that people are finding, so please disregard.

Update — a couple of you have commented that what’s sold at DT and Family Dollar is actually “Sun,” and not “Sunlight.” Has anyone found Sunlight at their store? Let us know!
