There’s a little Dollar Tree ad in tomorrow’s paper, so here are some highlights.

  • Pringles 4.41 oz. Note that the insert coupon is not valid on this smaller size.
  • Tortilla chips or 8 oz Pace picante sauce. Print $.50/2 here.
  • So they have 3.5 oz ribeye and 4 oz boneless pork chops in freezer stores. I would not recommend these, but thought I’d mention them.
  • 8 pack hot dogs and 32 oz oz crinkle cut fries. Brands vary by store, freezer stores only.
  • Hunt’s 24 oz ketchup.
  • Hanover baked beans.
  • Wise chips.
  • Picnic tablecovers, foil pans, napkins, more.
  • Flip flops.
  • Helium balloons.
  • 120 ct Scotties tissue. $.50/3 in the 5/17 RP.
  • Haribo gold bears. $.30/1 Haribo product 4 oz+.
  • Betty Crocker kitchen tools & food storage.
  • 12.6 oz Palmolive. There is $.50/1 Ultra in the 5/17 SS but the ad pictures Classic; they likely don’t carry.
  • Dial Basics 3 pack bar soap. Use the $1.00/2 printable here.

There’s a little Dollar Tree ad in tomorrow’s paper, so let’s see what’s of interest for $1.00:

  • Flip flops for $1.00.
  • Single roll Bounty Basic paper towels.
  • Mother’s Day cards, 2/$1.00.
  • Garden planters.
  • 9 oz Dawn. Note that the ones at Dollar Tree are generally marked trial size, so excluded from coupons.
  • 4 oz Colgate bonus size paste. If you find these today 4/25, use $.50/1 in the 4/12 SS (exp. 4/25).
  • 5 packs tiny candy bars. “Look for an in-store coupon: Buy two save $.50.”
  • Hunt’s 24 oz ketchup. “Look for an in-store coupon: Buy two save $.50.”
  • 12.5 oz VO5.
  • 18 oz Arm & Hammer pet fresh carpet odor eliminator.

Hmm, that’s a small ad. The rest is stuff they always have — party supplies, balloons, vases, bins and baskets, summer toys, etc. Let me know if you spot something coupon-worthy the next time you’re in.

I was a big big spender at Dollar Tree (Downers Grove on Butterfield) yesterday: $2.07 for the above after the $1.00/1 Brownberry coupon (no longer available) and the $1.00/2 Thomas’ coupon here. Mr. 8 is so happy — he already ate two of the bagels!

So here goes:

  • Bonus size 4.6 oz Crest paste. Use $3.00/3 in the 3/29 PG to get three for free.
  • 8 oz Pace Picante sauce. Use the $.50/2 printable coupon here to get two for $.75 each.
  • Wet n’ Wild lip gloss. Use $.75/1 in the 4/19 SS to get it for $.25.
  • Zulka non-GMO 100 ct cane sugar packets. No coupons, but I bought one — I don’t take sugar in my coffee (why dilute it, really?) but sometimes have guests who do, so thought it might be nice to have. THEN, I found that they’re apparently $.50 (?!) at the Glen Ellyn Walmart. Oops.
  • 6 ct eggs, 2/$1.00. $1.00 a dozen is pretty good these days.
  • Ortega black beans & taco shells. Use $.50/2 in the 4/12 SS or print $1.00/2 here to get them as low as $.50 each.

Dollar Tree

  • Looking for Brownberry bread at Dollar Tree? Outland comments: “I just ran in today, unplanned so I didn’t have any Qs, but they had tons of bread. It was in the store in Bloomingdale off of Army Trail, close to The Picture Show Theater. It was on a separate large metal shelving unit, close to the registers. I bought 2 anyway. They seem to mostly expire on 4/4 or 4/5.”
  • And feelgood asks: “Is anyone finding Brownberry bread at any Dollar Tree in the far southwest suburbs? I asked at the Dollar Tree in Lemont, was told they used to sell bread a while back but not anymore, reason being that they ended up throwing most of it away because very few people bought it. Didn’t find bread at any other Dollar Trees in the area either.”

Meijer

  • FunSavingATon comments: “Meijer also has a longer lived (3/29-4/18) specialty ad for Automotive. At the back of the ad is a $5 off $30 Automotive purchase. I purchased oil and filters for two cars along with some of the 4-day special food items. I stacked the $5 off $30 Auto coupon with a $5 off 1 mPerks for Pennzoil 5qt and today’s $5 off $50. And the purchases will credit to my mPerk’s rewards! :)The $5/$50 is now over, but you can check out the Automotive ad here.
