Dollar Tree

  • Looking for Brownberry bread at Dollar Tree? Outland comments: “I just ran in today, unplanned so I didn’t have any Qs, but they had tons of bread. It was in the store in Bloomingdale off of Army Trail, close to The Picture Show Theater. It was on a separate large metal shelving unit, close to the registers. I bought 2 anyway. They seem to mostly expire on 4/4 or 4/5.”
  • And feelgood asks: “Is anyone finding Brownberry bread at any Dollar Tree in the far southwest suburbs? I asked at the Dollar Tree in Lemont, was told they used to sell bread a while back but not anymore, reason being that they ended up throwing most of it away because very few people bought it. Didn’t find bread at any other Dollar Trees in the area either.”

Meijer

  • FunSavingATon comments: “Meijer also has a longer lived (3/29-4/18) specialty ad for Automotive. At the back of the ad is a $5 off $30 Automotive purchase. I purchased oil and filters for two cars along with some of the 4-day special food items. I stacked the $5 off $30 Auto coupon with a $5 off 1 mPerks for Pennzoil 5qt and today’s $5 off $50. And the purchases will credit to my mPerk’s rewards! :)The $5/$50 is now over, but you can check out the Automotive ad here.

  • On the new Eight O’ Clock coffee coupon, Jane says: “The 11-12oz. bags are always $4.99 at Wal-Mart. They also have decaf. for the same price AND several other flavors to choose from. I like the chocolate mint one!”

  • And on the $.55 Claussen coupon for this week’s pickles deal, Jane also comments: “I found another 55c/1 coupon for the pickles on MyMixx.”
  • Another find from Jane: “For the Fiora TP and paper towel deals tomorrow Apr. 1st only, I found several coupons on MyMixx for $1/1. Make sure you select the correct ones to match the sale and you have yourself $1.88 after coupon!”
  • But couponer4eva reminds us of the ongoing register glitch: “If you use a myMix coupon on the Fiora tp, it will automatically adjust the final price back to $2.88 . Same with coupons, so post-redeem them at the service desk.”

  • And carrie r comments: “I just wanted to remind anyone if you’re heading to Target, don’t forget to load the 5% off eggs on Cartwheel, it will make your first 4 dozen eggs .94 each. Honestly that’s the best price for a dozen eggs I’ve seen in a LONG while. Also the $4 off $25 Archer Farms/Market Pantry Target Coupon and the 5% Archer Farms Maple syrup Cartwheel deal worked well on the 32 ounce, 100% Pure Maple Syrup by Archer Farms. Regular price is $15.19 – 5%= $14.43, I purchased 2 so my total was $28.86-$4 coupon= $24.86 (just $12.43 per bottle) Plus other purchases and the $10 Target coupon I was a happy camper.”

ALDI

Bed Bath & Beyond

  • From seachicago: “Just a Bed Bath & Beyond coupon reminder: if you have any $5 off $15 purchase coupons, they work even if you’re a few cents under the minimum purchase (I heard the CS cashier tell someone that this morning, and I can confirm from personal experience). Also, you can use multiple $ off coupons in one transaction, which I did today but had never done before. They allow one coupon per item, and I always use multiple 20% off coupons in one transaction, but today I bought three items (each $14.99 or more) and used three $5 off coupons in the single transaction—I wound up with about 30% off instead of just 20%! Also, I believe you can post-redeem store coupons if you ever forget to bring one with you.”

Dollar Tree

Groupon

  • On the 25% off local deals code, Julie says: “Santa’s Village does not work for admission for 4. Only admission for two. Odd. I tried their live chat and she couldn’t fix it either. Bummer. However. Hala kahiki is $14.25 for 30. That’s a great deal!”

Kids Bowl Free

  • A suggestion from Liz on the summer Kids Bowl Free offer: “Wait a bit to buy the parents pass. They’ve sent me a 10 and 12 % discount code. I’m hoping for a 20%.”

Mariano’s

  • On the $.49/lb Jennie-O turkey deal, seachicago comments: “I was just at Mariano’s this morning, and both Jennie-O and Butterball frozen turkeys are .49/lb., *no minimum purchase*.  There was separate signage for each of the turkey brands, each saying 1 per customer.  I asked at CS, and they let me buy one of each brand at the sale price, but YMMV.”

Reader requests

  • Amy asks: “Does anyone know of a deal for the Olloclip (macro camera) for the iPhone? Meijer had a coupon for 50% off a few months ago but I was not able to use it. Thanks!”
