Amazon

  • Bonnie does the math on the Ziploc quart storage bags deal: “FYI on the Ziplock Bags – my best price was .084 cents per bag from a Target sale. Your deal works out to .0792 per bag. Hence a Savings of 60.5 cents better than my best deal.”
  • If you’re wondering about the Barilla Pronto Pasta, Dapper Deals shares: “It’s pretty good! I got mine at Jewel when it free too, and also more boxes since they were on sale for $1.25 each and I had a $0.75 coupon making them $0.50 each. This is awesome deal! You don’t have to wait for the water to boil. Just put the pasta in when you put the water in and set the timer for 10 minutes!”
  • And Julie says: “We got it when it was on sale at Target. My only complaint is that it really sticks to the bottom of the pan. You really need to keep an eye on it and stir it often. Made it two different times and it stuck badly both times.”
  • And letsshop concurs: “Yes agree especially when they said put it on high heat ,LOL but thought it was tasty use chicken broth instead of water (:”
  • A subscribe & save idea from kitty: “I needed a low cost item as the 5th to get my 15% off. Found some Ludens lemon cough drops in the low $2 range. Seems like we always need cough drops at some point, so figured it was a good investment.”

Thanks!”… They emailed back again and said “You should be able to get the adjustment for your coupon, however it would have to be the same day of your purchase.””

Pepperoni + a Movie — Dollar Tree deal

Posts on Mashup Mom may contain affiliate links. Please see disclosure and disclaimer here.

hormelpepperoniatdollartree

Here’s a deal feelgood spotted: Remember last week’s inserts were advertising a free movie ticket when you buy any three Hormel Pepperoni? Well, the fine print says this is valid with any Hormel pepperoni purchase, so should work on the small packs at Dollar Tree. We also have $1.00/2 Hormel pepperoni coupons, so your best bet will be to buy these in multiples of six:*

Notes

* The limit is five per person, so I’m assuming that you can get two from a single receipt — if you don’t want to risk it, buy four for $4.00, use two $1.00/2 coupons, and pay $2.00 for four with a free movie ticket back. (If anyone tries redeeming multiples from one receipt, please verify for us that it works — thanks!)

Dollar Tree limits to two printable coupons per person per day so you’ll need to mix/match with the insert coupons if you’re buying in multiples of six.

Terms & Conditions

*MOVIE CERTIFICATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Receive a reward code via text message valid for a movie certificate when you purchase any three (3) HORMEL® Pepperoni products or any (2) Hormel® Fully Cooked Bacon products in a single transaction between 6/1/15 – 8/31/15. Original receipt must be submitted by 11:59PM EST on 8/31/15 for validation. Validation can take up to 48 hours from time of receipt submission. Qualifying items must be purchased in a single transaction. Limit 5 rewards per person, while supplies last. Movie certificate is good toward one admission (up to $13 total value) to see PAN or any other movie at participating theaters in the U.S. Reward code void if not activated by 10/31/15. Movie certificate will expire on 10/31/15 and will be void if not used by the expiration date. If lost, cannot be replaced. No reproductions will be accepted. No cash value. No change will be provided. Internet access and printer required, and must bring printed certificate to the participating theater box office to redeem. Not valid with any other offer. Offer valid only in U.S. and valid for one-time use only. Not for resale; void if sold or exchanged. AAUW book sales

AmEx

  • Something to check from Lauren, who shares: “My AMEX has a special offer for spend $100 at target or walmart, get $30 back. It can be used up to 5 times!”

CVS

  • Catherine tried the $.99 cards deal (buy three get $3.00 ECB), and says: “The 99¢ cards were still working today at 3:00 pm.”

Dollar Tree

  • On yesterday’s Shasta question, Mandy found: “I checked out DT website and it looks like they have 4pks. of a few flavors. It says you can order to the store for free. I didn’t see any Ginger Ale. I wonder why they don’t mention it on the Shasta website?”

Family Time magazine

  • Family Time says: “Thank you for sharing our Max advanced screening passes info! :) We’re also in the 2nd week of our 10 Weeks of Summer Fun & Giveaways that’ll feature daily special offers, giveaways, and more on our Facebook page. Once again, thanks for including us!”

Reader requests

  • Phyllis asks: “Does anyone know where I can buy Shasta Gingerale 12 pack cans? I have several friends who just moved here from Ohio and it’s their favorite.”

Target

  • On yesterday’s body wash deal, Karen comments: “Just FYI, as usual, pricing at Target stores can vary greatly. I checked 2 different Target stores yesterday and all varieties of men’s and women’s body wash were priced at 4.99. I checked at price scanner too. The above deal would essentially cost $6.00 more so still better than paying full price, but not a great deal then.”
  • Shandelle shares: “Apparently Target has sold the pharmacy portion of their store to CVS! http://consumerist.com/2015/06/15/cvs-buying-targets-pharmacy-business-for-1-9-billion/

Walmart

  • A find from Valentina S.: “When I reloaded the salad coupon page with zip 77477, I also printed another reset coupon: $1.50/1 off Luzianne pour-n-stir tea. No size restriction. Gives $0.52 overage on 2 oz. packets priced $0.98 at Walmart Supercenter at 9450 Joliet Rd, Hodgkins, IL.”

ALDI

  • Athena is wondering: “Has anyone bought and used the tent at Aldi’s. What can you tell me about it?”

Bath & Body Works

  • From Terri J: “Check out their website! The throwback scents they re-released today are only $3.50 each for the big bottles! And 10/40 code too!!”

Dollar Tree

  • Heads up from pt if you spot the sugar cookie Pebbles cereal: “We bought those fruity pebbles after xmas on clearance at Jewel-my family, who are big fruity pebbles fans, hated them… beware-maybe buy one at a time if you want to try them!”

Dunkin Donuts

  • Elizabeth shares a deal on Facebook: “Offer is valid thru June 14, 2015 or while supplies last and is only available when displayed on www.dunkindonuts.com/visacheckout. Use Visa Checkout to load a new or reload an existing Dunkin’ Donuts Card with a minimum of $25 at dunkindonuts.com/visacheckout or on the Dunkin Mobile® App and receive a bonus of $10.00 loaded on your DD Card. Limit one $10 bonus load per customer. The maximum value that can be loaded onto a Dunkin’ Donuts card (including the $10 promotional bonus) is $100. New purchases on dunkindonuts.com require DD Perks membership. Auto-reload transactions, eGift cards purchased on dunkindonuts.com and physical cards are not eligible. Any attempt at fraud will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted. Dunkin’ Donuts reserves the right to change or limit the promotion in its sole discretion.”

Jewel

  • From feelgood: “For those buying Twix, Snickers or Dove ice cream for $2.25 at Jewel today. Besides the $1.00/1 inserts or printables, look for boxes with “Save $2.00 on ice cream and chocolate” on the box. Went to 2 different Jewels and saw Twix and Dove boxes with the $2.00 off offer on the box. Inside was a $1.00/1 ice cream coupon and a $1.00/2 chocolate coupon, both expiring 12/31/15.” The three day sale is now over, but if you are buying these elsewhere or on future sales, something to look for.
  • Heads up from Diane: “On the Jewel MyMixx Sara Lee BOGO coupon, the Sara Lee slices were $2/7 but the regular pound cake was $4.99 & even though the MyMixx says BOGO on either one, the $4.99 did not come off. Good thing I had printed it & it said BOGO up to $3.50, but after the cashier looked at it, he took $4.99 off.” Coupon is good through today 6/8.
  • Sandra says: “I bought the regular pound cake, not the slices, and it rang correctly and automatically took the second one off with the BOGO MyMixx. For anyone who has trouble finding these they are in the frozen section. The regular pound cake is 10.75 oz (I think slices were a little less weight which is why I went with regular)… I probably should clarify, too, that by correctly I mean 2/$7 so that with the MyMixx I ended up paying $3.50 for 2.”

Mariano’s

  • Finds from peaches: “I was in the Mariano’s on Golf and Waukegan in Glenview yesterday, and I noticed that they had some of the Bob’s Red Mill on sale for 50% off. I think they are clearing these out. They had bags of soy flour, buckwheat flour, and some other flours 50 % off, and they also had a few things 20% off. BTW you can use soy flour in place of eggs. One heaping tablespoon of soy flour plus one tablespoon of water equals one egg.”

Target

  • Patty clarifies: “The Starbucks deal offers a $5 Target gift card, not a Starbucks card. Much better deal that way anyway.”
  • And if you’re doing the Starbucks deal, check out Maureen’s finds: “There is a Starbucks printable on single serves at http://www.starbucksicedcoffee.com/?visited=true. Also a 20% Target Cartwheel.”
  • And Lola shares that: “The 30% off 3 C9 items worked on clearance. Stack it with the women’s 20% off clearance cartwheel. And there can be some good deals, but you have to look hard through the clearance racks.”
  • If you did the L’Oreal hair color deal, cjpuppy spotted: “FYI on the same site that Rachel linked the 3.00 coupon you can join their club and enter 5 codes and get a coupon for a free box of hair color.”

Ultra Foods

  • Heads up from April if you are looking at the clearance freezers: “I just wanted to mention it here. I was thinking of maybe getting a freezer at Ultra Foods since they reduced prices and also because I have this $10/$100 coupon from mailer. I asked today a customer service if I could see coupons, that come with it. She said, that this freezers will Not be sold with coupons, since the price was reduced!!! I guess it’s not a very good deal after all. :(” The signage definitely mentioned the coupons at my store — anyone picked one up?

CVS

  • If you’re doing the Huggies deal, Jane shares: “Yeah, the $2/1 from yesterday ended up being a MQ, but today’s $3/2 is a store coupon. Yippie!!!” Print the new CVS store coupon for $3.00/2 Huggies here.
  • And if you’re buying the Dove, Maureen found: “There are new Savings Star offers for Dove Men’s products that match up with today’s MQs. Also, the $10 mail in rebate on Reckitt Benckiser products in today’s SS goes perfectly with the $5/$20 offer on Savings Star – $20 of products for $5.”
  • Jen comments: “My CVS (South Elgin) has signs up now about not allowing ECBs on milk purchases. What do you know about this?” Anyone else seen these??

Dollar Tree

  • Anyone tried the cheap Libby’s pouches at Dollar Tree (or elsewhere) yet? Mandy comments: “I looked at the corn and peas and they looked really mushy through the bottom window. I passed because canned stuff is kind of mushy anyway. I would like to hear how they were after you’ve tried them. I grew up on canned veggies and don’t mind them, but, I really don’t want them any softer than they are. So far, I’m not a fan of the plastic pouches for other stuff like tuna, as I think the food tastes stronger in a bad way and the texture seems off to me.”

Jewel

  • If you’re using the limited time BOGO Sara Lee pound cake MyMixx coupon, Valentina S. found us the price: “They are on sale now, $3.50. The tag is 2/$7″
  • And Maureen spotted some good deals today: “Marley Coffee is priced at $9.99 at Jewel. I grabbed a $1 coupon from a machine in the coffee aisle and combined it with $1.50 from Snap and $2 from Ibotta to get them for $5.49. Challenge Butter is on sale at Jewel for $2.50, used a $1 Mymixx coupon and got back $.75 from Ibotta for $.75 butter. There is a $1 Ibotta offer on Gold Peak tea (18.5 oz). It’s on sale at Jewel for $1.25 so $.25 after rebate. Also, on the Finish $10 mail in rebate, my Jewel has “50% more free” on the All in 1 boxes so 48 ct. as opposed to 32 ct. for $4.99 each so be on the lookout.” Finish rebate is in today’s inserts.

Reader requests

  • One from peaches: “I am participating in a market research study on dishwashing soap in Skokie. They are going to give me a sample bottle of a new product. I am supposed to test it for four weeks, and then tell them how I like it. It is paying $185. I am also supposed to buy two small bottles of my current brand which is Ultra Dawn original by June 11th, and turn in the receipt. They pay me an extra $20 for purchasing the Dawn. Does anybody know of any sales on the small bottles of Dawn anywhere this week? Maybe CVS, Walgreens, Jewel or Mariano’s?”
  • Jane suggests: “Dollar Tree and Dollar General usually carry the small Dawns.

Walgreens

  • More finds from Maureen: “Cottonelle and Viva were on clearance at my Walgreen’s. There are MQs available for both as well as a Walgreen’s coupon in the June coupon book for the Cottonelle and Ibotta offers available on both.”

A couple of Dollar Tree deals 6/6/15

dollartree66

Ran into the Villa Park Dollar Tree on Roosevelt to get a paper this morning and spotted a totally different mix of random products than last week, including:

  • Fiber One protein cereal. $1.00/3 in the 4/26 SS (exp. today!).
  • Libby’s veggie pouches at 2/$1.00 — I’m curious about these, so bought one to try even though I didn’t have a coupon with me. Print $1.00/4 here (lower right).
  • Pebbles sugar cookie cereal.
  • Chex gluten free oatmeal, apple cinnamon only.

gluten-free-chex-sugar

I passed on the gluten free Chex Oatmeal because of the sugar, however — 13 grams in one tiny packet, and I’m trying to be better about reading labels and avoiding that.

What have you found at your Dollar Tree lately? As always, Dollar Tree deals can vary by store.
