Here’s a Jewel Catalina find from Pam! Your deal:

  • Buy two Post Great Grains cereal for $6.00 + milk at Jewel.
  • Use the buy two cereals get free milk (up to $4.00) in the 1/18 SS.
  • Pay $6.00 after coupon for two cereals plus milk, and get back a Catalina for another free milk (up to $4.00)!
  • So now you have two milk + 2 boxes of Post Great Grains cereal for a total of $6.00.

Pam comments:

With the new “free” milk coupon in the 1/18 SS, there is a pretty good deal at Jewel wyb 2 of the Post Great Grains cereals. I just tried it tonight when I saw posts of a Catalina printing at Walgreen’s and other stores.
I wanted organic milk, which Walgreen’s doesn’t carry. Also, Jewel has a greater selection of the Great Grains cereals than Wags does. However, the cereal is 50 cents more each at Jewel.
What you do:
Buy 2 post Great Grains cereals on sale for 2/$6
Grab whatever milk you want.
use $4 off milk coupon from 1/18 SS
Get a catalina for $4 (or “free”) milk OYNO (expires in 1 week.)
In the end, you are basically buying $6 in cereal, but getting $8 worth of milk free.

Catalina details (national Catalina, also running at Walgreens and other stores)

Post cereal Catalina (12/29-1/25): Buy 2 select Post Cereal – Great Grains, Grape Nuts, Shredded Wheat or Raisin Bran, get a Catalina for free milk, any brand, any variety up to $4.00.

  • Pookie sent a deal for Kroger and Food 4 Less, “Each has Colgate items which are normally $1 but often go on sale for $0.88 each. Theres currently a catalina promotion running for buy two get $2 Manufacturer ONYO. It is rolling and if you got the spanish colgate coupons recently you can use those on these items making it a nice MM. Awesome freebie to get for the local pantries, shelters, or dental clinics!!”
  • Pookie reports on Cheap Huggies at Jewel catalina, “It’s $10 wyb $30 any Huggies products its a national catalina working at all stores even Target” Update — I’m not aware that Target ever participates in OYNO Catalinas, and kate commented it didn’t work for her today.

Coupons

Heads Up

  • Elizabeth reports on the Suja Essentials Free after coupon and Ibotta, “My target rang up for 3.99. It was labeled suja essentials..looks like juice right next to them..says organic protein. So not only wrong price but when I got home ibotta states it doesn’t match so be careful which bottle you pick up”
  • Karen comments on Friday freebies for your cards — Nutella and Muller, “Food-4-Less in Oak Forest doesn’t have Muller Yogurt”
  • Kate says, “My Jewel in Naperville is still taking orders for pots and pans. So don’t throw out your stickers if you thought you missed it.”

JC Penney

K-Mart

  • Pookie sent some deals,”Get 100% back on WOW! iPhone charging accessories found under the member exclusive tab. Depending which one, buy two totaling over $30, and use the $10 back in points for spending $30+ to make it a nice MM. Coupon code available only via mobile web for select accounts. You will not earn the points if you pay with points on this one because its a percentage based offer.”

Meijer

  • Pookie replies to Meijer deals of the week regarding a Suave deal, “There are other Suave $1.50/1 coupons found as TP (two varieties) so completely possible to find ways to use more than two $1.50/1 without using more than two identical ones.”
  • Valentina says, “I bought 3 DiGiorno pizzas at Berwyn Meijer today. Used one previously available printable B2G1 MQ and got $2.00 manufactured Catalina.”

Reader Requests

  • Nilo asks, “can someone answer my quick question re: walgreens points? if i buy 6 items all at once and you receive 4000 rapid reward points for buying 2, do i receive just 4000 or do i receive 12000 points? do i have to separate them like at cvs or can i do it all at once. i started couponing over 6 -7 years ago at walgreens but after 2 bad experiences, 1 actually being traumatic, i stopped shopping at walgreens. this will be the first time in almost 3 years that i will step foot into one of their stores.”
  • Feelgood replies, “Nilo, you should be receiving 12000 points if you buy the 6 items all at once. What I usually do in a case like this is to go on Walgreens online and add 6 items to my cart, then check how many points I will be getting. If it’s showing 12000 points, you’ll probably get the same buying at the store. Just be sure you’re not paying with a W card, a merchandise refund card, or with points.”
  • Mimi asks, “What is going on with MY COKE REWARDS? They sent an email announcing a new “beta” my coke rewards. If I’m reading it correctly, you can not redeem your points any more unless you “unlock” some status things including tweeting and face booking ( which I do not have either one). So does this mean if you do not participate in facebook or twitter that you can no longer use all of your accumulated points for rewards? It doesn’t seem fair. Do you know what is going on?”

Target

  • Maureen found some deals, “There are Target printable coupons for $4 off Men’s apparel & accessories purchase of $20 or more and $3 off Kids’ apparel purchase of $15 or more, too, to pair with the clearance prices and 20% Cartwheel (which I of course found AFTER I got home).”

Walmart

  • Raegan found some clearance deals, “I just came from Walmart, where some of the toys are on clearance. The big doc McStuffins exam table was marked down to $30!”

Cheap Huggies at Jewel

An unadvertised Catalina deal at Jewel this week: Spend $30 on Huggies diapers, get $10 OYNO. Two scenario ideas for you:

  • Buy four jumbo packs at $9.99 each = $39.96.
  • Use four $3.00/1 coupons from the 1/11 SS2 = $27.96.
  • Get back a $10 Catalina for a net cost of $17.96 for four, or just $4.49 a pack.

Or:

  • Buy six jumbo packs at $9.99 each = $59.94.
  • Get $5 instant savings for your $50+ baby department purchase = $54.94.
  • Use the $5.00/$50.00 Jewel coupon on the last page of the ad in the Retale smartphone app (you can email this to yourself as a PDF) = $49.94.
  • Use six $3.00/1 Huggies coupons from the 1/11 SS2 = $31.94.
  • Get back a $10 Catalina for a net cost of $21.94 for six, or $3.66 a pack.

Some Jewels may no longer wish to take the $5/$50 before the manufacturer coupons, in which case you’d be at net $26.94 for six, or $4.49 a pack.

pullups

Here are some new Huggies coupons for your morning! Plus, this week at Meijer: Spend $30 on Huggies, get $10 OYNO. Jumbo packs are priced around $8.99 there, making Pull-Ups a good deal.

Last time CVS ran a deal I checked the Huggies and couldn’t find any jumbo packs 38 ct+, so you may need to use that one on the larger packages.
