Yikes! I just posted a Bumbo deal recently, so thought I’d better tell you guys about this one. They’ve issued a voluntary recall because of babies falling out of these when placed on tables, etc. You can head over to the recall site here and claim a free restraint belt and warning sticker to make yours safer.

My Daughter has two of these for my Grandson. Never are they placed on a table. Really??

There was a huge Tribune article sometime last year. It was so sad the amount of children who were placed on the table and fell out. After all the warnings, I’m surprised people are still doing it. Its a great product when used properly.

Babies are getting injured even when placed on the floor. Both of my boys were big for their age but when they were at the right stage for the bumbo seat they both could straighten their bodies and fall out the back of the seat. My oldest I barely caught as he went head first over the back, my youngest i used it once but saw he also could get out of it. I think they should offer a money refund because these seats are awful. This is their second recall. The first recall was because people were putting them on tables and didn’t have proper warning labels against it. This recall is because they are just plain unsafe at any level.
