More recalls…

  1. So now they are recalling ALL infant Tylenol, because the dosage topper thing pushes into the bottle. Thanks for this one to Mashup Grandma!
  2. And they’re also issuing a warning on Arm & Hammer spinbrushes, which some of you may have from the rebate deal a couple months ago, because the heads are breaking off and can chip teeth, get lodged in your throat, or injure your eyes. Here’s the FDA statement.

That second one is really scary. Just a question though: what are people doing with these that cause eye injury?!? Lol.

  2. rachel says:

LOL — I guess if you turn it on and don’t have it in your mouth yet and a piece breaks off while it’s spinning, it could fly anywhere, right?

  3. Coupon Cutie says:

Oh great now they are in the category of bee bee guns, “they can shoot your eye out.”

  4. Charlotte says:

I never even found any tylenol product for our kids with the $10 coupon they sent out from the first recall. The shelves were empty every time I looked.

  5. pt says:

Ugh. companies suck ; ) After reading that I’m afraid to let my kids use their spinbrushes. Charlotte, me either! I keep looking at the date on those thinking when will the shelves be stocked again?

I’m not real happy with A&H right now. They denied my rebate saying I didn’t buy the right products! I sent them pictures of what I bought and they both CLEARLY say Spinbrush on them! (one was a GloBrush Spinbrush.). I was denied again and then I wrote the company directly! I am out 3 stamps trying to get my lousy $2! It’s the principle of the matter at this point. Now I can’t even return them because they have the receipt. Hmmm.
