Dominick’s clearance
They are still remodeling the Glen Ellyn Dominick’s, so if you’re in the area go check out the clearance. This week’s 75% off clearance table sported, among other things, a lot of Kosher section items. Here are a few highlights:

Lipton matzo ball soup mix, $.67.
Duracell hearing aid batteries, $1.00. Use $1.00/1 in the 3/3 PG!
Stuffing mix, $.25.
Various Manischewitz soup mixes, $.47.
Manischewitz or Streit’s matzos, $.85.
Manischewitz matzo ball soup cans, $.75.

so the $4 off 4 didn’t come off for seattle coffee?
Nope
bummer.
I scored at the Glen Ellyn clearance tables! Picked up a soup mix, ranch seasoning, bread crumb mix, mandarin oranges, wheat egg noodles, cookies, biscuits, cat litter, a 6 or 7 boxes of organic cereal for under $1 each, oh, and canned pears for 25cents each…
It helped to have all these great deals when they are completely switching the store around! It took me forever to find some things…I had that store completely memorized!
Today?? They didn’t have cat litter or cereal etc. when I was there, lol. And yeah, I was kind of walking in circles today trying to find things. I hate the new shelving they have by the cheese etc. — you can’t see anything and it’s going to get all backed up over there now.
I’m hoping those shelves are temporary…
I was there on Monday. I almost cleaned out the cart that had the marked down cereal! I think they may be reorganizing the store to be more like the store in Carol Stream where I don’t like shopping because of the way it is organized with the ethnic food in a separate place.
At Dominick’s you can transfer a prescription and get a $25 off your next grocery purchase of $50 coupon (valid 1/1/13 thru 6/30/13). It was very easy. I just called gave them the prescription info, insurance info and telephone number of where to transfer from. I was happy to see that my prescription was $12 less than I had paid for it at Walgreens. My insurance doesn’t cover this prescription I need. I was very happy.
i forgot 2 coupons when i went to ultra last night. i stopped at the service desk to ask if they post redeem coupns and the person working the desk said yes. has that been your experience with them?
Their policy actually says coupons must be redeemed at the time of purchase. In practice, it depends who is working customer service. Some are nice and will let you do it. Some won’t. Some will the same day. Etc.
I get a kick out of your trips to Dominicks! it amazes me how just confusing this store can be. The receipt is the hardest thing to figure out. I only go there if there is a good sale on what I want. So im going tonight. wish me the best, I will post how well i do. At least now i know what to expect. Thank you so much keeping me in stiches and informed.
I agree about their receipts- they are confusing! I usually write down the prices of the items that are in my cart, then deduct the coupon/J4U values to figure out about how much I should owe at the register (not including tax). This helps me greatly!
Pizza coupon is gone
