Hubby is in Germany for 2 weeks and passes an Aldi every day on the way to where he is working. He stopped in and said it is exactly the same layout as the ones in the states, packaging looks identical too, excecp of course for the language.
My first visit to an Aldi was while visiting Germany. I thought Aldi was what all German grocery stores looked like.
That is so cool
.
I bought the caramels some of you have been talking about. They are indeed good but I think you all hyped them up too much for me. They remind me of the kind you would purchase at one of the kids fundraisers
but much, much cheaper
Au contraire. They are awesome. In fact, I just ate one.
Umm…caramels? What caramels?? I thought I had tried most of Aldi already lol…
Oh! Try the caramels — don’t mind SoapBoxTray
— they are seasonal and only for a limited time. Sea salt caramels, $3.50 a box.
If you are a caramel fan in general you will love them, I am not a big fan and they are good.
So to be not a fan of caramel and still like them probably says how fantastic they are
I am glad I tried them. I went in to get some cukes and see how the meat selection was and I did find a few meats on clearance so I am using today and tomorrow. I am going to be stopping in more often. Sans the caramels.
Aldi’s @ Lily Cache & Weber had the gluten-free chicken nuggets reduced to $3.49 today.
In Bolingbrook, that is
A dozen rose bouquet for $9.99 sounds like an excellent price!
Jewel has a dozen rose bouquet in their ad this week for $24.99, or just a dozen rose bunch for $19.99
Dominicks also has a rose bouquet advertised this week for $24.99
Stopped at the Aldi on Rt. 53 in Bolingbrook where there is a little bit of a remodel going on. Asked the cashier what was up, and she said they are getting their own distributor of meat and increasing their organic line, including fruits and veggies. She said they want people to make Aldi their one-stop shopping destination for groceries. I’ll be curious to see what they will be carrying in regards to the meat dept.
Oh, I hope all the Aldi’s do it, if they’re going to carry organic fruits and veggies!
