Jewel — Kashi instant savings deal through 9/16
![]()
There are a couple deals at Jewel this week that I’m going to give their own posts, because they’re long. The first is: Save $4.00 instantly when you buy 4 select Kashi snack or frozen products through 9/16. (And remember, they’re not sneaky like Dominick’s — they show the before instant discount prices in the ad, so figure you’ll save $1.00 off each item wyb 4.)
Participating products and prices
- Kashi frozen pizza, $6.99.
- Kashi frozen entrees, $3.99.
- Kashi GoLean, GoLean Crunch, or GoLean Crunch Honey Almond cereal, $2.75.
- Kashi Organic Promise cereal, $2.75.
- Kashi Heart to Heart cereal, $2.75.
- Kashi GoLean instant oatmeal, $2.75.
- Kashi granola bars and cereal bars, $2.75.
- Kashi cookies or crackers, $2.75.
- Kashi waffles, $2.49.
Alas, no, it does not include the Honey Sunshine cereal that a lot of us got $1.50 coupons for.
Coupons to use
- If you got the preferred card update book, don’t forget the store coupon for $1.00/2 cereal or granola bars to combine with any manufacturer coupons you have.
- Print $1.00/2 Kashi chewy granola bars at Coupons.com.
- Print $1.50/1 Kashi cereal or snack — print in IE or print in Firefox.
- $1.50 off crackers, snack bars, or cookies when you buy GoLean Crunch cereal. Print in IE or print in Firefox.
- $1.50/2 Kashi cereal. Print in IE or print in Firefox.
Good deals to be found here! For instance:
- If you have two preferred card update booklets: Buy four granola bars or participating cereal: $11.00. Minus $4.00 instant savings = $7.00. Minus two $1.00/2 store coupons = $5.00. Minus four $1.50/1 snack/cereal (if you can print four; you’ll need two computers and you may have printed already for earlier deals) = -$1.00. Overage! If you don’t have the preferred card store coupons but can print four $1.50 coupons, you’ll pay $1.00 for 4 boxes.
- If you’ve already used the higher value $1.50 coupons in the past… Buy 2 GoLean Crunch and two granola bars for $7.00 after instant savings. Use two $1.00/2 from the preferred card update booklet. Use two $1.50 off snack bars wyb GoLean Crunch. Now you’re at $2.00 for two boxes of cereal + 2 granola bars.
Anyway, you can see the potential.
I just wish the cereal bars were included, because that’s what the kids like here. Oh well!
I’m not too bright! My eyes read “granola bars” and didn’t notice that the picture included cereal bars — but Shauna did (thanks, Shauna!).

Are we SURE the Honey Sunshine cereal & cereal bars are not included?
Sorry! A couple people have tried it, no discount, and it’s not in the participating products list on Couponers Wanted (which pretty much just mirrors what is in the ad).
Thanks! It’s a bummer, but you did save me a trip!
I am pretty sure the cereal bars are included. There is a picture of the strawberry ones in the ad that I have. I am going to try it later today or tomorrow.
Shauna! You’re right! I’m an idiot and was reading the wording but not paying attention to the picture. Let me fix that.

If we buy 8 products, will we get 8 dollars off?
bertha — Yup! Instant deals stack nicely
.
I went to Jewel yesterday to get in on this deal. I don’t know what happened, but my Jewel was low on EVERYTHING–they were completely out of Romaine, spinach, scallions, those boxes of salad (basically all of the produce we had on our list for this week). And, of course, when I went to go get my Kashi cereal, the shelves were BARE. They were completely out of all the Go Lean (Crunch & Almond as well).
Luckily my boyfriend noticed they had the Organic Promise and Heart to Heart cereal in the organic section of the store, and those were completely untouched! I plan on going back tomorrow or Wednesday to do round two of this deal since I just got a $2/1 coupon today with my Kashi cereal sample. Combined with printables, I’ll be able to get 4 boxes for 50 cents. Hopefully they’ll have some in stock!
