Here are the deals YOU found recently. Thanks! Share the deals you find with other Mashup Mom readers by emailing me, commenting on the blog, posting to the forum, or posting on the Facebook Wall.

Butera

  • Deana says: “Went to Butera for the first time. (Golf & Elmhurst in Des Plaines). Butterball turkey bacon on sale for $1 each- used a .75 off of one and a $1/2 AAAAAND found little sign saying “buy 3 and get $1 oyno” They have the kraft cheese promo going on with the 8oz cheese @ $1.67 which made the trip worth it. No name parmesan for $1.99 and 2 for $1 lasagna noodles rounded it off. Whoop whoop! =^..^=”

CVS

  • Christy says: “Aveeno is spend $20 get $10 ECB. There are $5 off coupons for the Positively Ageless Vitality sunblock (must register) at https://www.aveeno.com/vitality/vitality-register. Cost for each was $12.99, for a total ofr $26. I used two $5 off coupons and got back $10 ECB for a net cost of $3 each (plus tax).”
  • From Jeanine: “With regards to the Pampers deal I received a $4.50 off any big box of Pampers from the scanner about two weeks ago.” So, check your stash.

Dominick’s

  • From Bonnie: “Wheaties fuel is on sale for $2.99 and if you have any e coupons left…I had $1.75 total in e coupons and a $1.00 IP……so .24 cents for the box….I am addicted to this cereal…very yummy! also 2 Yoplait delights with e coupons .58 cents , also found some expired kraft cheese coupons…so did the kraft deal….dom’s also has calif. avocado’s for 4/$5 and used 2 $1/2 IP so .75 cents a piece  Very Good Trip to Dom’s!”

Donating

  • Lisa Patrone says: “the college of lake co. takes school supplies :)

Jewel

  • Sandy comments: “Local jewel has flintstone vitamins on clearence  half off for 4.34 and there  is a $2 off coupon in this sunday paper.”
  • Feelgood got a new Catalina alert… for EDY’S ICE CREAM. I kid you not. “Get a $4 cat when you buy $12 worth of any of the products listed below between 8/5 – 8/11:
    • Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream or Ice Cream Bars – any size
    • EDY’S Branded Products – any size
    • EDY’S Fruit Bars – any size
    • DIB’S Bite Sized Frozen Snacks – any size
    • NESTLE DRUMSTICK Frozen Dairy Dessert Cones – any size
    • ESKIMO PIE Frozen Dairy Dessert Bars – any size
    • THE SKINNY COW Frozen Treats – any size
    • FROSTY PAWS Frozen Treats for Dogs – 4pk

Kmart

  • From Christy: “I was at my area KMart two days ago and I was walking through the toy section when I ran across their current toy sale… 50% of the clearance price toys. I notice several boxes of Trio block toys with $5 coupons on the front that were expired. I decided to take them to the front desk and ask if they would honor the coupons since they were still on the box. They did except the coupons so I got the following… three Trios were marked $12 -50% = $6 – $5 coupon… $1 each. Then one was a large grouping for $22 – 50% = $11 – $5 coupon… $6. So I purchased four Trio block sets for $8. Then I went to Kmart in Homewood today and they have a whole isle full of clearance toys… I got Little Pet Shop toys for $2.50, Batman and bat mobile for $7.50, toy tool box $4, Chutes and Ladders (Disney Princesses) $4, card games $2. There were other toys I already have but there were many Leapster items for about $11… If you need to stock up on the birthday present closet… now’s the time.”

Target

  • Erin found: “They have 50 cent off Sobe water up again! with b1g1 free from Sobe.com means free Sobe! YEA!”
  • From Michelle: “I went to target today and bought the chef boyardee. Most of them were .89, but the whole grain was .99. My target let me use as many target q’s as I had with me. I only had 3, but that was 3 free cans for me! Also…print the target q for $1.00 off bic. The mechanical pencils are $1.24 for a 6 pack. Only paid 24 cents.” My Target didn’t have whole grain (maybe it’s just SuperTarget?). And Pam says: “Chef Boyardee is on price reduction for .89 – all varieties even the heathly ones (which I never saw before).” They were $.97 at Lombard, so this probably varies by store. Not that it matters, since the coupon auto-adjusts down…
  • Joy did the Olay rebate deal: “I did the Olay at Target today. The P&G book q’s are for the Regenerist cleanser or moisturizer and I only had 3, so I used a $3 Regenerist from 7/4 PG. And…I can’t count…both the Regenerist cleansing cloths and the daily facial cloths are all $5.99 so buying 8 doesn’t get you to the $50 mark. So I threw a Regnerist foaming cleanser in because it was $8.24. Too bad I didn’t take one of the 8 cloths out of my cart. Duh… ANYWAY…I got: 5 Regenerist cleansing cloths 5.99 each. 3 Daily Cleaning cloths 5.99 each. 1 Olay Regenerist foaming cleanser 8.24 = 56.16. Used: three $5 P&G book q’s. one $3 7/4 P&G coupon. four Olay cleansing BOGO 7/11 P&G brought it down to 14.20, tax was $4.77 so after all that I’m up .59 after rebate. I know I *could* take the extra one back, but with all the coupons used, it is hardly worth the debate that would surely ensue at CS.”

Walgreens

  • Karen says: “I have have asked Walgreen’s to adjust the .99 price UP to $1 so I can use a $1 off coupon.   The Walgreen’s near me in Naperville/ Aurora have had no problems adjusting a price up a penny or 2.”
  • From Christy: “Flintstones vitamins are on sale for $5.99 (save $2.50). There’s a $2.00/1 coupon in today’s RP. Not a stock-up price, but if you need them….”

    Deana,

I went to the same Butera tonight (for the first time while visiting my mom), got the $5 cat on the Kraft, went back in to spend it and was told that I couldn’t use it the same day! Is this Butera policy? Does anyone know?

Deana – I used the Butterball cat the same day, but I did use a different checkout lane if that makes a difference.

Thought you might want to post this. We never used take the kids to Chipotle due to lack of a kids meal, but we went this weekend and they are awesome. The food comes on a little sectioned tray and my kids loved it! Source: http://www.yelp.com/events/chicago-free-kids-meal-sunday-at-chipotle-mexican-grill-3

Chipotle is launching its new Kid’s Menu in Chicagoland and is offering a free Kid’s Meal on Sunday, July 25, 2010 and August 1, 8, and 15, 2010 at all Chicago locations when parents purchase a burrito, salad, burrito bowl (a burrito without the tortilla) or order of tacos.

All of the items on the Kid’s Menu adhere to Chipotle’s commitment to using only the best-tasting ingredients from more sustainable sources that is the hallmark of Chipotle’s food. Chipotle developed the Kid’s Menu with pint-sized fans in mind, from the actual menu items to the portions and prices. The new Kid’s Menu features:

    -Small Cheese Quesadilla ($2.95)
-Small Meat & Cheese Quesadilla ($3.50)
    -Single Taco ($3.50)
-Taco Kit (they build it) ($3.95)

All Kid’s meals are served with a small bag of chips and a choice of organic plain milk, organic chocolate milk, apple juice or a soda.

Didn’t try the Hot Tamales game- turns out I didn’t have to. Ben’s Bargains has a link straight to the winning page. I don’t like the candy much either, but…

I guess I could cut and paste the link-
