CVS deals week of 7/25/10
Here are the best deals I see at CVS for the week of 7/25/10. For those of you in Chicagoland, the Dean’s milk deal has finally run its course. I’ll miss it!
If you’re new to CVS, ECB stands for “Extra (Care) Bucks.” Here’s what to remember about these:
- Unlike Walgreens RR, ECB are store coupons and can only be used at CVS.
- They are also tied to your particular CVS card, so if you get an ECB or store coupon that prints out at the price scanner or register, it will only work for your card.
- Always scan your card at their in-store price scanner, because bonus coupons print out there when you do so.
- Sign up for their ExtraCare emails with your card number and you’ll get a bonus $4.00/$20.00 printable coupon, plus random emailed coupons throughout the year.
- The $4.00/$20.00 and other $/$$ coupons can be used before any other coupons.
- ECB always roll.
- Limits listed in the ad are per card.

ECB deals
- Monthly deal: BioTrue 2oz, $2.99, get $2.00 ECB limit 2. Print $2.00/1 here for another nice little money maker. (I heard it was printing again but hit my limit already.)
- Monthly deal: Buy two CVS pantiliners for $1.00, get $1.00 ECB limit 3 (need to do in separate transactions).
- Pampers Baby Dry, Swaddlers, or Cruisers big box, $21.99, get $10.00 ECB limit 1. Some people are getting $3.00/1 out of the price scanner. Also $2.00/1 and $1.50/1 in the 7/4 PG and $2.00/1 in the 6/20 RP. If you get the store coupon from the price scanner, this is a pretty good deal. Use $3.00/1 plus $2.00/1, and you’re at $16.99 with $10.00 back, or net $6.99 for the box.
- U by Kotex, $4.99, get $4.99 ECB limit 1. Use $1.00/1 printable here for a slight money maker.
- 6×8 photo book, $7.99, get $7.99 ECB limit 1. You have to make these in store, so plan to bring your photos and spend some time.
- Dove bar soap 2 pack, $3.00, get $2.00 ECB limit 1.
- Neutrogena sun care or sunless tanning, get $10.00 ECB wyb 2, psa $9.99. This sometimes works on smaller sizes, will see… $1.00/1 in the 6/13 SS.
- Clairol nice n easy or root touch up, $6.99, get $2.00 ECB. Use $2.00/1 from the 7/4 PG, pay $4.99, get $2.00 ECB for a net cost of $2.99.
- Spend $25 get $10 select CoverGirl & Olay simply ageless limit 1. Includes foundation, $14.00, and corrector, concealer, or sculpting blush, $11.00. $1.00/1 in the 6/6 and 7/4 PG. Don’t forget the $10 rebate wyb $30 here. So if you already bought, say, the Pantene last week, one idea is to buy one $11 and one $14 product, use two $1.00/1, pay $23.00 and get $10.00 for a net cost of $13.00. Combine with one of your existing receipts and get the $10.00 rebate.
- L’Oreal EverStrong or EverPure shampoo, conditioner, treatment, or leave-in conditioner, $5.99, get $5.00 ECB on two limit 1. Use two $2.00/1 from the 6/6 RP. Pay $7.98/2 with $5.00 back for a net cost of $2.98/2, or $1.49 each.

School supply deals
- Paper Mate 10 pack pens, 2/$1.00.
- There are a bunch of BOGO deals in the ad, but no prices listed and I don’t have a sense these will be great prices. But, I’ve been known to be wrong.

With regards to the Pampers deal I received a $4.50 off any big box of Pampers from the scanner about two weeks ago.
Is $1 ECB on Dean’s Milk still working or did that end with the new week?
Janice- i believe it ended on 7/24
Aveeno is spend $20 get $10 ECB. There are $5 off coupons for the Positively Ageless Vitality sunblock (must register) at https://www.aveeno.com/vitality/vitality-register. Cost for each was $12.99, for a total ofr $26. I used two $5 off coupons and got back $10 ECB for a net cost of $3 each (plus tax).
JaniceT — yes, it ended — both the ECB back and the free milk wyb 5 deal.
Ooh, Christy, that’s a great price for that — I think that’s my mom’s sunblock of choice, I should call her.
Also for the Kotex U deal, if you have the Reinventing Beauty Magazine from CVS, there is a $1.50 CVS coupon so it makes it a $2.50 MM. I found just the coupon inserts up my the register and they did not cost anything. Some stores have the magazine and it is .99. There are CVS and manufacture coupons in the lot so it’s a good thing to hang onto.
