Barcardi
- Uh oh. On the H vs K, Lisa says: “OK, I was leary about the H or K on the Bacardi rebate as well. I got out a magnifying glass (per the rep.) and well, its an H. I called the phone # and the rep. I got was unsure…she said there *was* a rebate that was 1222K but she was going to confirm w/ the rebate house, they were closed when I called. I gave her all of the info. on my rebate postmarked by 9/? (not in hand now) $5/2, etc….. $60/6. She is calling me back tomorrow to verify.” (I don’t have one of these, so can’t look myself!)
Coupons
- Christy sends along a printable coupon for a free bag of Snikiddy snacks. Note that most stores won’t take this.
Dominick’s
- From Jenni: “I don’t know if anyone has mentioned that Betty Crocker Warm Delights is generating a crazy amount of ecoupons. At Dom’s in Oswego, some are $1.49 “reduced for quick sale”. I had a 75 cent exp q from a GM booklet in Jewel a few months ago and 4 ecoupons came off, giving me $1.50 in overage. I also got 40 oz Bisquick for free with tiny overage with exp $1 q from the GM booklet and 3 ecoupons. ALSO, Huggies wipes 64ct are on sale for $1.99. I used exp $1/1 q and TWO $2 ecoupons came off, giving me $3 in overage!”
Food 4 Less
- From Liz: “Food4less has Activia for $1.50 – $1/1 in Sunday’s paper.”
Jewel
- Michelle says: “At the Yorkville Jewel there are tear pads for $1.00 off Sara Lee buns wyb ballpark franks. The coupons were already expired, so I took some to Dominicks. I planned on buying ballpark anyway!”
Meijer
- Joy and Moejo confirm that Kraft shred and chunk cheese is 3/$5.00 in Illinois Meijers through Wed. 7/21. So: Buy 5/$8.34 and get back a $5.00 Catalina. Kay has coupons “in a blue book that Meijer had in the store a couple months ago. They are store coupons that expire 7/31. The coupons are for Kraft singles (deli deluxe included) Deli fresh,string and twist-ums. Also OM Bologna or deli fresh meats, mayo, miracle whip, California Pizza Kitchen or Di Giorno, Crystal light, Ritz, and Oreo fudge cremes.”
Target
- From Jaclyn: “Get the Suave 97 cent deodorant for free Use 2 .75/1 7/ RP and if you have a July target home mailer coupon book use .50/2.”

Dominick’s has that 16 count Rice Krispie treats for $4, which is only $2 if you have the $2 off from the Stars and Stripes coupon book.
Also be sure to double check your dates on all of your Dominick’s items: dairy and non-perishable. Sometimes the products are older than they look.
got the rebate on the bacardi from armanetti’s in carol stream….rebate says 1222H not K date purchase to be done by 9/15/10..my rebate mailed today have copy…all the sites where the rebate forms being sold…have H…do I expect to see my 60.00 not so sure…I had even called bacardi about getting the form and they knew nothing..good luck
Matt — The 8-ct ones go down to $1.50 pretty often so it’s not a SUPER deal. And yes on the dates, I bought expired mayo and expired dressing from them recently and had to take both back, so now I’m paranoid careful.
I have the rebate form as well….clearly and H
After reading the posting a few days ago, I called the barcardi site to confirm and they told me specifically 1222K. They seemed to have a rebate at the K site, but maybe not this one. So of course today I mailed it to 1222K. I wonder how long it will take to be returned. Ughhh. I have copies of eveything, but don’t know if they will take a copy of the receipt if I resubmit to 1222H.
