Jewel and Ultra coming tomorrow
Checking out for the night, guys — just finished up watching Swing Vote from Netflix (cute!) and realizing the time. Too many deals, not enough time, but rest assured that the Jewel ad is much less exceptional this time. And on the Thursday, we rested!
To tide you over: I read on Couponers Wanted today that the Jose Ole single steak chimichangas on sale 10/$10.00 are working for the buy 10 products, get $10.00 back Just Chill deal. Stopped by Lombard this afternoon to check it out myself, but they were out. [Was one of you at self checkout around 3:15 with a bunch of Snapple and Smart Pop? I saw you in passing as I blew out the door empty-handed with two cranky kids

Rachel – too funny. I was there too at self check out about 3:10. I talked to the woman with the snapple and we both had a laugh about meeting you, and that this was “Rachel’s” Jewel(I usually go to another jewel). You are an icon! I asked her if she had ever met you and she said “no”, but must have nearly missed you on multiple occasions. Thanks for all the deals (and laughs) you provide!!!
LOL — I should have stopped and said hi! Mr. 3 was in a mood, and they were out of everything I wanted, so was just running out the door when I saw all that stuff at the end of a self-checkout

Did the Chicken chimi’s this morning. We love them. Of course not as great as freshly made, but for a quick easy meal they’re great!
Hi town, we met yesterday at Jewel. Si, that was me Rachel yesterday with one of my three kids. I was looking for you up until checkout and then I’m in my zone. Don’t see much of anything but my coupons in hand and the price on the screen
We’ve had quite a few close encounters, KMart for sure last year (remember the tide stain release deal, and we had to check out at CS b/c there were no lanes open, think I was a few minutes behind you as you were leaving as I got to the register) and Ultra a few times.

I was just tearing out the door empty handed because Mr. 3 was so done. I think a lot of us shop at the same stores…
Lol, I agree this area is full of us. You can tell by the empty shelves.
Mr. 4 was such a big help yesterday. I was so proud of him and how patient he was. I was actually able to get 5 trans done without complaint. I do favor my Villa Park Jewel. They have the absolute friendliest staff. Although I must say lately Lombard Jewel is starting to rub off on me, as the staff has become more friendly towards us coupon shoppers. I use to have the hardest time with one of the female managers there, not the guy, he’s always been super accommadating and nice.

Mini warning to those wiser then me – Only the chicken/cheese and steak/cheese chimi’s work. I tried the steak and jalapeno flavor today the that rang up at $1.50 not $1.00

Not sure why the steak chimi’s didn’t work on the CHILL deal for me today. I bought 8 of them and 2 lean pockets. Hrm… Oh well, I still got them for a great price.
Has anyone bought the Jewel’s buy 10 Select Just C.h.i.l.l. Freezer Products/ Receive $10 OYNO yet? (This is the first time I’ve ever tried this type of promo)
I tried it today with 2 transactions.
#1- I bought 8 healthy choice dinners and 2 hot pockets.
Used 4 Healthy Choice coupons $1.25/2 and had no coupons for Hot Pockets.
Paid $15 OP ( Could of paid $14 with Hot Pocket coupon)
Received $10 cat & $2 YB ( my YB still isn’t working)
#2- I bought 8 healthy choice dinners and 2 hot pockets again.

Which should of been $4.75 for 20 Boxes= 28c per box right???
Not sure if this was the best option but I only started clipping coupons last week and I couldn’t find any coupons for Hot Pockets (Grrr) after searching for hours so I’m sure I’ll do better next time

Coupon Princess — that’s a great start! Good price for healthy choice for sure. I don’t think there are current coupons for hot pockets other than some printing out at Jewel when you buy hot pockets.
TinaW — they are sooo nice at the VP Jewel. That one Lombard manager is great, too. If you make it over to South Elmhurst they’re also very nice and sometimes tend to have more stuff on shelf when the other couple stores are wiped out
