Four companies a day, day 13
Welcome back to the four companies a day experiment, where I’m writing four companies a day, complimenting their products, and seeing what happens. (Often: coupons in the mail!) The plan here is to post regular updates about the companies I contact and the responses I receive. You can see all of the companies I’ve contacted and get updates in the “fouraday” category here.
Who am I writing today?
- Fresh Gourmet — because Jessie had good luck in comments.
- Ore-Ida — because, while it’s not Alexia, sometimes the kids want french fries.
- Heinz — because there was a picture of it on the Ore-Ida page.
- Lawry’s — because they make a teriyaki marinade, and Kikkoman and Soy Vay didn’t come through…
Updates
Today in the mail I received:
- FREE 16, 24, or 32 oz Dannon product + two $.50/1 coupons (not good on cups).
- $1.00/2 Ricola.

Did you contact Kraft yet? I contacted them about purchasing a box of easy mac and having some of the cheese packets already opened inside. They mailed me out a coupon for a free box within a week or writing them!
I also complimented Huggies on their pullups and recieved a $3, and 2 $1 coupons for any huggies products.
I complimented Huggies and only received 3 – $1 Qs. You must have left a better compliment, Jackie!
I also complimented Stacey’s on their pita chips and received a free Q and a couple .55 Qs. I also had good luck with Coffee Mate and a few others, but am drawing a blank right now. I guess I need to start keeping track!
I complimented Huggies and got nada, so maybe I’m bad at it
. And no, maybe Kraft will be on tomorrow’s list… mmmm, cheese.
I also received Dannon coupons today, but mine were for a free 8 or 12 cup or drink pack of yogurt (7.99 value) and two $1 coupons. I wonder how they decide who gets what?
I emailed Kraft today b/c a pkg. of provolone cheese w/exp. March 3 was moldy in my fridge! Eww! I expect more from the brand name “Kraft”. We’ll see what happens.
Hi Rachel: I wrote Splenda and complimented them on their product. Today, I received a coupon for “UP TO 8,00 off” your next purchase! I was so excited.
I also received two coupons from coffee mate “Up to 2.99″ and .50 cents off (not as good as the Splenda deal!
