Black Friday mega post sticky

Published by rachel at 3:34 pm under black friday

So yeah — I thought this was a good idea, but it’s becoming overwhelming. Use the Black Friday offer browser from now on. :)

I know you can go to any of a number of sites and view the Black Friday ads by store. Like, for instance, BlackFriday.info. So I thought I’d do something slightly different and start a “sticky” post with BF deals by category. I’m throwing this at the top of the Mashupmom.com site, where it will stay, and will add to it as time permits or as you share your best deals in comments. This is a very unfinished work in progress, so keep checking back. It will never be finished — I’ll keep adding til Friday, but there are just too darn many stores to cover everything.  :) Please comment with your favorite BF deals and I will add. It’s not comprehensive — just listing some of the best deals I see.

Note: Verify all sale times with your own store ads.

  • The drugstore deals at Walgreens and CVS start on Thanksgiving — they’re both running three-day sales Thurs-Sat with their BF deals. So, you have 3 days to do them.
  • Walmart deals are running 5-11 AM Friday only.
  • Meijer is running 5AM-noon only.
  • Menards is running some deals 6-11AM and some Friday-Saturday.
  • Kohl’s is 4AM-1PM — and they’re doing Kohl’s Cash Nov. 25-28, $10 back for every $50 you spend.
  • Best Buy starts handing out tickets for their doorbusters at 3AM and quantities look to be extremely limited. Other items run Friday-Saturday.
  • Gamestop doorbusters run 6-11AM.
  • Toys R Us doorbusters run midnight Thurs-Friday 1PM, plus extra doorbusters 5AM-1PM, plus some 2-day Friday-Sat deals.
  • IKEA is doing different items on one-day sales all weekend. Please check HERE for the days different deals are running.

Note 2: I’ll be posting BF online deals in separate posts — no sense linking to them now since they haven’t started yet, so watch for those all day Friday.

question on the toysrus diapers deal… limit 3, does that mean 3 sets of 2 OR 3 packs total. Since you have to buy 2 for the 2/10 deal, it just seems odd to have 3 total. Just curious if you knew…

  2. rachelon 22 Nov 2009 at 5:09 pm

I think it’s limit 3 packs — there’s a picture of the wording in the ad in my original post, and that’s how it looks: http://www.mashupmom.com/?p=13063

Walgreens: Dove ultimate visibly smooth deodorant, $3.99, get $3.99 RR. Print $2.00/1 in IE or Firefox or use $1.00/1 10/4 RP.

It is better to just print the $2 coupon if you can because my 10/4 RP ad says $1.50/2.

Thanks for all the BF info!!

Saw this on Gizmodo – great tips on the bad/anti-deals (which you could probably also sort out using that great BF browser): http://gizmodo.com/5411057/black-friday-anti+deals-what-not-to-buy?skyline=true&s=i
