So I stopped in at Dominick’s this morning and Jewel this afternoon — Jewel was a MADHOUSE! What are people doing? The deals aren’t that good this week! Anyway…

$16.04 OOP

So Dominick’s in Glen Ellyn told me the other day that they now only accept one OYNO Catalina per transaction. This will make it real fun to use up those silly little $1.50 and $2.00 ones. I tried to get clarification from corporate, to no avail, so asked at customer service today — they said that corporate told them they have to do it this way. Okey-doke. They were also out of I Can’t Believe It’s not Butter baking sticks (foiling my Home for the Holidays plan), out of Nivea lip care, out of Dial cranberry hand soap, and something else I can’t even remember. But, I needed cheese, so spent more out of pocket to get less than I planned to. Sigh.

Transaction one (to use a separate Catalina!)

Broccoli crowns, $.81.
Asparagus, $1.48.

Used $1.50 Catalina and $.83 in cash.

Transaction two

2 La Victoria salsa, $4.00. Got $.50 off for e-coupon here. Used $4.00/2 printable from La Vic Rewards.
4 110-ct. Kleenex, $3.96. Used four $.75/1 printables + $2.00/4 Dominick’s coupon from Stay Well booklet found in-store by the pharmacy.
4 32-oz Lucerne cheese, HOLY CRAP I JUST NOTICED THAT ONE FLAVOR RANG UP AT $6.99 AND IT’S THE ONE I OPENED ALREADY. Ahem. That’s $2.00 I didn’t want to spend, so don’t buy the sharp cheddar. The other varieties were $4.99 each as advertised (and ad says “selected varieties, so I’m out of luck there). Anyway, $21.96 (grr). Used four $1.50/2 lbs of cheese from Coupons.com.
2 Coffee-mate 32-oz creamers, $3.98 with in-ad coupon. (These will be cheaper at Walgreens next week, but they don’t have sugar-free hazelnut in the smaller bottles for dh.). Used two $1.00/1 printables.
Jennie-O turkey, $5.41 (saved $7.04 w/$20.00 purchase). This one I’m freezing for later; buying a bigger one at Jewel Sunday for the holiday.
Waterfront Bistro smoked salmon, $4.99. Used $2.00 coupon that came in the mail.

Used 10% off my purchase coupon (from getting a flu shot there), took off $4.03. Used a $5.00 RR from Walgreens. Paid $15.21 cash. Now that I see it should have been $13.21 had I grabbed a different cheese, I’m annoyed at myself.

So then I went to Jewel to buy cream cheese

Took a picture for you, but it’s stuck on my iPhone… After school I dragged both kids to Jewel because I wanted to get the cheap cream cheese before it goes off sale (good through Sat.) and some raspberries for Mr. 2. So…

3 Philadelphia cream cheese, $2.64. Used $1.00/3 from 11/15 RP.
Raspberries, $1.88. Used $1.00/1 printable (now $.50/1, sorry!).
Blueberries, $1.88. Ditto above.
4 Birds Eye Steamfresh brown rice, $3.88. Used four $.35/1 from 10/18 SS.
1 Thomas’ mini bagels, $3.99 (!) — this is what I get for shopping with Mr. 7, who realllly wanted bagels with that cream cheese.

Used a $5.00 Jewel Catalina and two $1.00 RR. Paid with $3.12 cash.
