Walgreens printable and Huggies deal

If you didn’t get a Walgreens ad in your paper or need more, you can print that $5.00/$25.00 coupon from their site as well. Most Walgreens do enforce the wording that you need to hit $25.00 after all other coupons in order to use, but here’s a Huggies deal-ish I saw over on Common Sense with Money, for those of you who need diapers:

  1. Huggies are on sale this week at $8.99/Jumbo pack.
  2. Buy 4 for $35.96 + a small filler (like the $.12 gift sack using in-ad coupon).
  3. Use the $1.00 Children’s Activity Book coupon.
  4. Use two $2.00/1 here + two $1.50/1 from Coupons.com or SmartSource.com.
  5. That brings you down to $25.08. Use the $5.00/$25.00 coupon, and you’re at $20.08 + tax for 4 packs of diapers. That’s about $5.00/pack — not bad for name-brand.
  6. Then, don’t forget to submit your receipt to Caregivers Marketplace for your $.75 back per pack.

Do you know if any of these Children’s Activity books are still available at WAGS? If yes, do you have any suggestions on where they would be located? I searched a few different WAGs and have not found them, but maybe I am too late.

karen — I haven’t seen them in a while, but haven’t really been looking. Some stores had them on clearance last month so not sure if anyone would have them left. When they were out, they were all over the place — back by the pharmacy, with the other kids coloring books, on an endcap, with other clearance items.

I’m not following the math. If I buy 4 packages = $35.96. Then I use how many coupons? If I use four $2.00/1 coupons, I’m down to $27.96. If I use four $1.50/1 coupons, then I’m down to $29.96. How did you get to the $25.08 number you mention above?

Sorry for being dense, but I’m not gettin’ this one!

    Thanks!!! ~erin

Erin — two $2.00, two $1.50, plus another $4.00 off for the $1.00 off each from the children’s activity book :) .

Thanks Rachel! I’m going to head to Walgreens today after work and seek out those activity books.
