Things to know at Jewel
Just a few…
- Check your Avenu before you go. Avenu e-coupons load onto your card when you view the page, and come off automatically at the register when you buy qualifying items. If your Avenu item is part of a Catalina deal, the pre-e-coupon price counts towards the Catalina.
- Also load SavingStar “electronic coupons,” which rebate back into your SavingStar account rather than coming off at the register.
- You’ll also want to read this on the latest Jewel Catalinas change, if you’ve been doing them there for a while.
- Here’s the official Jewel-Osco coupon policy from September 2011.

On the Cottonelle Cat, is that working on the $5 packages at Walgreens (or is that Charmin at Walgreens)? I’m in need of TP and I know they have a coupon in the Feb coupon book.
no, it is not working at Walgreens
Mentos Up2U Gum is on clearance for $.20 at the Stores in schaumburg, hoffman estates, and streamwood, just an FYI
Totally unrelated to Jewel, but I was just searching on Amazon and it looks like the Subscribe & Save discount option has decreased. It used to be 15% and now it’s only showing my 5%. Has anyone heard about these changes?
This changed a couple weeks ago. It is now 5-15% depending on product
Thanks, Rachel! I got the email regarding the Amazon mom changes but must not have read it carefully enough to notice the other changes! What a bummer!
L Oreal Excellence, Excellence to Go, Root Rescue Color are on sale 2/$12 this week. Several $2 coupons (1/29, 2/19 RP) to make this deal 2/$8 or $4 box.
I was at the Jewel in Bourbonnais today and they had Brummel and Brown butter 15oz $3.99 but are on sale BOGO free. I’m not sure but I think this is a good price. I believe I pay $2.38 for 2 of the smaller tubs at Walmart.
Hostess had printable coupons for $.75/1 multi-pack of chocolate creme Twinkies, with 2 coupons, it would be $2.79 for 2 boxes of those. I got the coupon from an e-mail they sent me, but a co-worker found it on the web somewhere.
I had the chocolate creme one up here somewhere — people were saying they weren’t included on the last BOGO sale, but don’t know about this time.
Really? My co-worker boughtthe chocolate ones last time and she got them BOGO….hmmm?? Weird…
Hmm, I was just going by what people said, I never looked. Awesome!
