Things to know at Jewel

Just a few…

  1. Check your Avenu before you go. Avenu e-coupons load onto your card when you view the page, and come off automatically at the register when you buy qualifying items. If your Avenu item is part of a Catalina deal, the pre-e-coupon price counts towards the Catalina.
  2. Also load SavingStar “electronic coupons,” which rebate back into your SavingStar account rather than coming off at the register.
  3. You’ll also want to read this on the latest Jewel Catalinas change, if you’ve been doing them there for a while.
  4. Here’s the official Jewel-Osco coupon policy from September 2011.

On the Cottonelle Cat, is that working on the $5 packages at Walgreens (or is that Charmin at Walgreens)? I’m in need of TP and I know they have a coupon in the Feb coupon book.

    2. Robin says:

Mentos Up2U Gum is on clearance for $.20 at the Stores in schaumburg, hoffman estates, and streamwood, just an FYI :)

    3. Tracy says:

Totally unrelated to Jewel, but I was just searching on Amazon and it looks like the Subscribe & Save discount option has decreased. It used to be 15% and now it’s only showing my 5%. Has anyone heard about these changes?

    4. Christine says:

L Oreal Excellence, Excellence to Go, Root Rescue Color are on sale 2/$12 this week. Several $2 coupons (1/29, 2/19 RP) to make this deal 2/$8 or $4 box.

    5. Marjorie says:

I was at the Jewel in Bourbonnais today and they had Brummel and Brown butter 15oz $3.99 but are on sale BOGO free. I’m not sure but I think this is a good price. I believe I pay $2.38 for 2 of the smaller tubs at Walmart.

    6. Jeanette says:

Hostess had printable coupons for $.75/1 multi-pack of chocolate creme Twinkies, with 2 coupons, it would be $2.79 for 2 boxes of those. I got the coupon from an e-mail they sent me, but a co-worker found it on the web somewhere.

    7. Jeanette says:

Really? My co-worker boughtthe chocolate ones last time and she got them BOGO….hmmm?? Weird…

    8. Linette says:

Buy 4 Ore-Ida Easy Fries for $4.00. Get $3.00 OYNO. Repeat easy fries again. Buy 4 Rice Crispies 12oz on sale for 2/$5.00 and buy 2 Kool-Aid mix packages on clearance for $.10 each at Morris Jewel. Use Kellogg’s $4.00 coupon (coupon.com under zip code 30043),and use both $3.00 OYNO from 2 previous transactions. I paided $.30 for cereal and Kool-aid. So total of $8.38 for 8 boxes of Ore-Ida Easy Fries, 4 boxes of Rice Krispies and 2 pkg Kool-Aid mix.
