- In-ad coupon for 30% off a participating frozen item with $10 purchase. Shows popsicle, Jimmy Dean Biscuit, Bird’s Eye Steam Fresh, Eggo, Ore Ida bags, hot pockets, some kind of enchiladas (Safeway? I’m working off an online scan because my ads didn’t come today, and it’s fuzzy), Klondike, Haagen-dazs, Stouffers, Lean Cuisine. No prices on any of those, but shows Safeway Select or Open Nature ice cream for $2.59 after coupon, Safeway Select pizza $3.29. Oh wait, on the last page it shows Eggo at $2.89, so $2.02 after coupon.
- Stouffers or Lean Cuisine, $1.99 with in-ad coupon limit 6. Oddly, these are also on the 30% coupon above. I wonder what would happen if you loaded both on JFU. Use $1.00/5 Lean Cuisine in the 1/1 SS.

Things to know at Dominick’s
Just a few things to know:
- Dominick’s does not let you use a coupon on the “free” item in a buy one, get one free sale. They also have now decided that they won’t let you use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale to get both items for free.
- Many Dominick’s will only let you use one OYNO Catalina per transaction. Most no longer take Catalinas or Register Rewards from other stores unless they are for a specific item. Their official policy says no.
- Sign up for Just for U for additional e-coupons and “personalized savings.” You can no longer use paper coupons with manufacturer JFU e-coupons. Although sometimes they randomly go through.
- Just for U common questions and answers here.
- Link to whatever the current coupon policy might be, here.
- If you shop at Safeway, Vons, Genuardi’s, or another Safeway affiliate, your prices may differ from those shown here, but Catalina deals are 90% the same. Dominick’s in Illinois no longer allows the stacking of manufacturer e-coupons with paper manufacturer coupons, and neither do many Safeways — they’re phasing it out as they roll out Just for U in your area.
- Dominick’s, unlike Jewel, gives individual stores tremendous leeway about coupon policies, so you will not see consistency between stores, and not all stores follow the official policy.

No Just for you deals this week?
There was nothing in the ad and nothing listed under “hot deals” this morning. Hmm.
When I logged in there was a message in place of the hot deals reading, New features in your shopping list coming March 1. And, in smaller print, it says to make sure to print off my current shopping list by Feb 29. Huh…Really makes me wonder why I need to print this off. Do I really want to waste my ink?
Posted a question on their FB page about the lack of JFU offers. Was told they are making “enhancements” to the site and new offers will return March 8. Wish I’d known, would have stopped by yesterday for milk before the price change. Haven’t paid more than $1.97 for a gal of milk for a long time….
Aldi and Walmart in Algonquin had gal. milk for $1.77. I was SHOCKED!
I really hope they are not getting rid of the just 4 U because I love it -I know other people have had problems but so far mine has worked great and I’d saved tons of money without having to run all over town to other stores (esp. with deal match). I never shopped at Dom’s before I learned about the just 4 U – I hope I don’t have to go back to Jewel . . .
If you have frozen items on your JFU then you get a better deal with the 30% off coupon, b/c its 30% off the sale price. I have Safeway frozen fries 26-32 oz for $1.91 personalized price and I only paid $1.04. The receipt looks like this:
Reg price $2.99
Card savings .10-
J4U personalized .98-
Store cpn .87-
Also i forgot to ask them in the store but is it only one item or can you purchase more than one item and the 30% will come off all frozen participating items. If you look at the ad, underneath the picture of frozen foods it says participating items must be purchased in a single transaction.
I honestly don’t know — the coupon is worded weird.
I was wondering this also as I have a just for u price on the ore-ida and I need to get 4 bags to get the cat. It would only be worth it if all bags get the 30% off. Anyone test this at Dominicks today? TIA
I have the Ore-Ida price too! I really hope it will work on more than one because we are out of tots. Also, think we can get 30% off twice on Amy’s? LOL.
At my store, the K-cups are $5.99 after the Buy 3-Save $6. Use the $1.50/1 Newman’s Own Organic K-cup MQ that’s out there, and you’ve got an awesome deal for K-cups.
The fruit blends were $4.59 at my domincks for the 18 oz size that my coupons were for.
Check your J4U for a free 12 oz Sun Drop, in the coupon center. My husband’s and my card both have it and it expires 4/20.
