Things to know at Jewel
Just a few…
- Check your Avenu before you go. Avenu e-coupons load onto your card when you view the page, and come off automatically at the register when you buy qualifying items. If your Avenu item is part of a Catalina deal, the pre-e-coupon price counts towards the Catalina.
- Also load SavingStar “electronic coupons,” which rebate back into your SavingStar account rather than coming off at the register.
- You’ll also want to read this on the latest Jewel Catalinas change, if you’ve been doing them there for a while.
- Here’s the official Jewel-Osco coupon policy from September 2011.

Went to jewel and found 34 ct Tide stain release clearanced to $3. I got the last 3 bags so I was able to use the $2/3 from 1/29 PG. I looked in the detergent aisle to see if I could find some stragglers but in the place the used to have the stain release they had cubes advertising the Tide Pods. Are they replacing the stain release for the new Tide Pods? If so could mean great deals on the tide stain release.
anyone know the prices of the got2b?
The got2b is priced at 5.99. I bought the invisible gel kind. I ran into a problem because my Jewel just changed over to some new cash registers, and the new technology did not want to recognize my coupon (aka the new Walgreens register syndrome). Be prepared to tell the cashier about adjusting the price down unless you want to have a “nice discussion” with the customer service people.
jewel’s coupon policy is to not adjust the coupon down. you cant use 2 $3 coupons if the bogo is $5.99
The Cottonelle 18 pack is on sale for $9.99 at Jewel. I found that it was cheaper to buy 18 rolls for that price rather than 2-12 packs even with the $3 Catalina. 56 cents a roll with buying one 18 pack vs. 71 cents for 2-12 packs. I even got a $1 manuf coupon print out when I scanned it and was able to use it! I paid with $2 RR and the $1 off manuf coupon = paid $6.99 plus tax.
