Things to know at Jewel
Just a few…
- Check your Avenu before you go. Avenu e-coupons load onto your card when you view the page, and come off automatically at the register when you buy qualifying items. If your Avenu item is part of a Catalina deal, the pre-e-coupon price counts towards the Catalina.
- Also load SavingStar “electronic coupons,” which rebate back into your SavingStar account rather than coming off at the register.
- You’ll also want to read this on the latest Jewel Catalinas change, if you’ve been doing them there for a while.
- Here’s the official Jewel-Osco coupon policy from September 2011.

I got zip on avenu – is that down or something?
Mine shows that I “have no offers at this time” also. I rarely check Avenu anymore because it doesn’t seem like it’s ever updated.
There is a Milk Bone catalina running too. I bought 2 tonight (on clearance and got a $1 OYNO cat. So tomorrow they’ll be 3/$3 after coupons and cat
there is a Waffelbakkers “free” coupon in the coupon book that came with the Jewel freezer deal. This will be the first one I have tried, but that means I can get 2 packages for free…right?
Yup!
For the Domino sugar-how many can I buy with one coupon & get the $1.99 price?
One.
That’s what I was afraid of. LOL Thanks.
If you have a Dominick’s near you it is $1.99 there Monday only without the limit
I saw that. Dominick’s isn’t terribly close to me & I’m in a ‘I hate Dom’s’ mood right now LOL Thank you!
Dove coupon gone, after all that registration nonsense. I hate it when these companies don’t even warn you that you’re wasting your time entering all that information. I suppose it’s smart marketing, but now they have an unhappy customer.
Ugh, sorry — I’ll pull it out.
De Wafflebakkers price at Oswego Jewel rang $3.99, not the advertised $3.79. Watch the prices!!!!
Did the coupon you printed allow for pancakes only? I didn’t want to print it because it specified pancakes, which we don’t like, but would like to try waffles.
The ones I printed were for pancakes. I wanted to try waffles, too. :/
They rang 3.99 for me as well in Hoffman Estates and the cashier would not correct it for me. She said if I bought 1 it was 3.79 and 2 cost 3.99 BOGO. Okay … didn’t make any sense to me, but I didn’t fight it since I was running late and it was 0.20 difference and there was a line behind me.
Guess now that the scanner guarantee is dead, Jewel really doesn’t care if they have correct prices (or not) in the system anymore!
Um… that’s not even possible, because it would ring $3.99, $0.00. It wouldn’t CHANGE from $3.79 to $3.99 when you bought the second one. Sheesh.
It’s marked as $3.99 b1g1 at my Jewel.
check your annoying $.25 coupons from the Jewel game. I had several Dunkin Hines cake mixes, Skippy PB, strawberries, Jewel shredded/chunk cheese.
Hey Rachel, I’m just wondering if you’ve heard of any one winning any thing from Jewel’s Wish Big Win Big Game. I, sadly, did not. I am one game piece from a new car though, so close. If there is anyone out there who would want all of my game pieces, let me know how to get in touch with you and I can find a time to pass those off to you. Maybe you are luckier than me.
So I took a look on Craigslist because my husband and I were talking about this game and I found that people are selling and trying to find the rare games pieces on there, interesting. I can only imagine how crazy it gets for the McDonalds Monopoly game.
They have a list of winners up on their FB page. All I won was donuts
Anyone know the price of the Cottonelle at Jewel? I’m debating if it’s worth it for me to return my Wags purchases. TIA
Wondering the same thing myself…going out shortly and will let you know ASAP.
Thanks. Sad thing is, I was just there & forgot to check.
