Starting tomorrow 1/19, Jewel is running a Catalina deal including Kleenex: Buy $10, get $3.00 OYNO, including Cool Touch or 75-184 ct at 2/$3.00.
I got an overlapping Catalina alert yesterday: Buy Kleenex tissue 50 count or larger between 1/23-2/19: Buy five, get $1.00. Buy six, get $1.50. Buy seven or more, get $2.00 OYNO.
So, starting 1/23:
- Buy seven boxes of Kleenex for $10.50.
- Use two $.50/3 from the 1/1 SS = $9.50.
- You should get $3.00 OYNO AND $2.00 OYNO for a net cost of $4.50/7.
Or if you want Cool Touch,
- Buy seven for $10.50.
- Use seven $.50/1 from the 1/1 SS = $7.00.
- Get $3.00 OYNO AND $2.00 OYNO for a net cost of $2.00/7.
(However, these are only 50-ct boxes. And slightly creepy, lol)

I guess another way of doing it is:
Buy seven boxes of Kleenex for $10.50, 6 “regular” and 1 cool touch
Use two $.50/3 from the 1/1 SS, and one cool touch $0.50 off = $9.00.
Get $3.00 OYNO and $2.00 OYNO for a net cost of $4/7, maximizing the coupons whilst getting less of the “creepy” cool touch one. *lol*
And your math is a bit off on the top one as it is: $4.50 /7

i love , love, love the cool touch kleenex. i have been sick for over a week with a cold/flu and they are the best i have ever used!
Check your catalinas too – I got a $1/3 regular Kleenex from Jewel a couple of weeks ago.
I agree ‘cool touch’ is creepy….they have a weird chemical smell (guess they thought if you have a cold you won’t notice?) and whatever that is also has a strange ‘touch’. I had a cold and broke out a box – it was softer on my nose than ‘regular’ kleenex, but I am thinking I will be keeping a smaller stash of puffs for colds – just not liking my kleenex covered in some chemical…
I just tried it. Bought 2 cool touch and 5 regular boxes. I got the $3 Catalina but not the $2 one. Guess I’ll be emailing the company!
It looks like the overlap Cat is for 1/23. YOu might have been too early.
The $2.00 one doesn’t start til 1/23. See dates in post. And actually the $3.00 one isn’t scheduled to start til tomorrow, so you got lucky on that one!

I did a test round today involving 3 Kleenex multipacks, and they ARE included, so buying 3 of them will generate another $3 Catalina for you!
Can you please explain how you worked out the multipacks scenario? I’m just wondering how much are in those boxes, sounds like a better way to go.

does these oyno coupons roll? so that i can do it more then once…. i don’t usually buy groceries from jewel because its so expensive so having a bunch of oyno coupons won’t really do me any good unless i can roll them…

Hi! I did this today with all Cool Touch. Bought 7 of them to get me to $10.50, and had 6 q’s. But nothing printed. Looking closer, it says on there that it has to be over $10 AFTER manuf. coupons
They always SAY that, but don’t mean it.
The double dip doesn’t start until the 23rd. And if you didn’t get the $3 off one, your catalina machine might have been out of paper. Always check them for a green light.
Charlotte is correct. It’s said that in their ads for at least a year and never been true. Call catalina tomorrow at 1-888-8COUPON.
I bought the Kleenex hand towels on Friday. Bought 4 (for $10.00) and used 4 $.75 coupons. The $3.00 cat did not print. When I went to the service desk, they confirmed that they are holding strict to the “after manufacturer coupons” language. The Jewel I go to has never done that before. The CS printed out a $3.00 “failsafe” cat for me, but said they would only do it this time.
So who has tried it today?? Does it work yet?? I will be going tom. I’m home w/ a sick child today!

oops just realized i got the national cat and not the jewel one advertised…. guess i’ll call jewel & have them tell me it’s b/c i didnt hit $10 AFTER mq’s even though i know that’s not true….
I just got home from doing it today, 1-23, and it worked. I got a $3 and a $2 back.
Just thought I’d add that I bought 6 regular and 1 cool touch. First she handed me the $2 one and I thought maybe it didn’t work, but then the other one printed and she handed me that one with my game pieces.
Did the exact same deal as above (6 reg. 1 cool touch) only got 1 cat from Jewel for $2 oyno – so do I call the # above, because my total was $10.50 before coupons?

It worked great for me at the Jewel downtown. I bought 7 Cool Touch boxes and had both cats print. They were taking their sweet time to print though. My total was under $10.

Just got back from my ‘regular’ Jewel.
Did 7 boxes of the 184 ct. white tissues (the 174 ct. are colored tissues)
$10.50. Use 2 .50/3 Q’s = $9.50 + $1.00 tax = $10.50 oop.
Got….$3.00 cat AND $2.00 cat. $5.50 for 7 boxes = .79/box
worked for me at Schaumburg Wise/roselle rd, I did 6 regular and 1 cool touch…

I think with all the issues people are having with this at Jewel, I am just going to go to Dominick’s and use their $.79 Kleenex store coupon limit 2 and get the 3rd for $.99 use the $.50/3 coupon coming out to $.69 each after all is said and done. Not worth the hassle at Jewel to MAYBE save an extra $.05/box.
