Things to know at Jewel
Just a few…
- Check your Avenu before you go. Avenu e-coupons load onto your card when you view the page, and come off automatically at the register when you buy qualifying items. If your Avenu item is part of a Catalina deal, the pre-e-coupon price counts towards the Catalina.
- Also load SavingStar “electronic coupons,” which rebate back into your SavingStar account rather than coming off at the register.
- You’ll also want to read this on the latest Jewel Catalinas change, if you’ve been doing them there for a while.
- Here’s the official Jewel-Osco coupon policy from September 2011.

There are .25 store q’s for the Super Chill Soda from the Wish Big Win Big game pieces.
FYI – The Ken’s coupon is in 1/8 SS, not 1/1 as listed.
The Martha Stewart Living February issue has a coupon for $1.00 Mrs. T’s Pierogies
what zip can i look at to see next week’s ad early? mine starts tomorrow, but i can only see this week! HELP!
You can’t. Mine came in the mail — there is also an ad scan up at couponerswanted.com.
There is a $1/2 coupon for Del Monte Fruit cups in my 1/8 RP – local paper – not the trib
Do you know if Caputo’s does Catalina’s? They have kikkoman panko for $1.68. With the coupon and cat it would be pretty great.
I shop at Joe Caputo’s a lot for fresh produce… They do NOT have catalina machines by the registers. I thought it was awesome when they started letting you get cash back at the register though. FINALLY. lol
The ad shows whole grain barilla pasta, so buy 2 get 1 free. Use 3 .55/1 coupons from Sundays paper and get them for .45 a box.
Does anyone happen to know if the Spice Island spices are still on sale? When I was at the Lagrange Jewel two weeks ago, they were all about 1/2 off and I found several with hang tags for $1.00 off meat WYB any SI spice. I was able to stack a $1.00/2 from the 12-11 SS with two of the cheaper spices and a hang tag on some B1G1 chicken thighs. (The hang tags state LIMIT ONE PER PURCHASE/HOUSEHOLD.) If the spices are still on sale, this would be a good one to stack with the sirloin or Purdue roaster this week.
I meant Lagrange Park Jewel.
I’m seeing a Chi-Chi’s Salsa coupon in this weekends paper; $.50/1 or $1.00/2.
Baby Mama – unfortunately they don’t
.
Darn!
The Smart Ones coupons in my Jewel flyer actually read $5 off any 10 smart ones anytime selections, breakfast, classics, favorites or desserts. 6-11 oz.
There were actually TWO of these coupons in my flyer! one on the front and one the HBA flyer inside.
Hey Rach, there is a $1.50/3 tombstone pizzas in the 12/11/11 SS – coupon database doesn’t have it for some reason…
Many stores have huggies wipe packs on clearance (184 or 216 count). These count towards the baby catalina. So I got 6 packs today (among other things) for 3.14 each before catalina!
Is it just me and my account but I have not had any offers on my Avenue in a long, long time! What gives?
I have had the same really bad deals for a long time. I have never bought a 29 ounce can of peaches in heavy syrup in my life, why does Jewel think I want one?
Maybe they figure they’ll wear you down eventually…
I don’t know what’s up with Avenu — keep thinking they’ll just shut it down, but. No.
