Here are the best Ultra Foods coupon matchups and deals I see for the week of 1/5/12
I’m using the Lombard version of their ad (valid for Lombard, Downers Grove, Wheaton, Hanover Park), so note that pricing can vary between stores, particularly on the extreme value meat deals and sometimes on the cereal deals. Check your own store’s ad to verify.

Things to know at Ultra
At many Ultras, Catalinas will NOT print at the self-checkouts, so use the registers. Ultra accepts expired manufacturer coupons back 30 days; they do not accept expired store coupons. View the Ultra coupon policy here (click on your local store from this link and it will come up). They now accept manufacturer Catalinas from other stores; however, they will not accept Register Rewards from Walgreens.
Some Ultras will give you a $.05 credit for each reusable bag you bring in and use, so be sure to mention them to your cashier.

can you roll the catalinas at ulra? if I buy the Nature Valley, can I use the catalina to buy more Nature Valley?
Yup.
for the Pepsi sale–it also includes the 6 pack of 24oz plastic bottles. Couldn’t you also use the $2/2 coupon in the 1/1 SS?? So, if you bought 4, the price would be 4.88/4, or $1.22 each. That would be a great price for those.
How do you look up the expired coupons? As far as I can tell they don’t show up on coupontom once they’re expired? Do you use a different lookup or just your memory?
LOL Jamie. Memory!
If you create an account on Coupontom.com (this will not work in the “find coupons” tab her, you have to go to Coupon Tom itself), you can then login and set it to search for expired coupons back X number of days. So when I do Ultra, I go there and set it back 30 days. Also the hot coupon world coupon database will let you search expireds.
Thanks Rachel! Glad to know I don’t have to rely on my memory.
yeah, so went to Ultra this morning. I think that is a great deal on the pop with the coupons! I did two orders: one with 4 of the 6 pack of 24 oz bottles of diet mt. dew (equals four 12 packs); and another order with 3 of those plus an 8 pack of 12 oz bottles of Pepsi Max (which is less than a 12 pack.) With the $2/2 coupons, each pack was $1.22, which I think is a good price for the equivalent of a 12 pack, plus I prefer the plastic bottles anyway.
Be careful using the 5$ GM coupon at Ultra…the coupon states “cannot be combined with any other coupons or offers”. I did not realize this until I was checking out at the Wheaton store.. Too bad-would have made for some great cereal, yogurt, and granola bar prices.
It’s a store coupon, and combines fine with manufacturer coupons. Why they sometimes have that wording, I don’t know, but it states right on it that it is not being sent to GM for redemption. Your mfr coupons are.
Rachel, thats what i thought too! However our cashier forcefully pointed out the wording to us, and would only let us use our mfr coupons OR the 5$ off. I left the store feeling rather confused and dissapointed. Glad to know i was correct! Did anyone else have a problem?
Ultra Foods can be hinky. Maybe try the one in Lombard.
