Things to know at Jewel

Just a few…

  1. Check your Avenu before you go. Avenu e-coupons load onto your card when you view the page, and come off automatically at the register when you buy qualifying items. If your Avenu item is part of a Catalina deal, the pre-e-coupon price counts towards the Catalina.
  2. Also load SavingStar “electronic coupons,” which rebate back into your SavingStar account rather than coming off at the register.
  3. You’ll also want to read this on the latest Jewel Catalinas change, if you’ve been doing them there for a while.
  4. Here’s the official Jewel-Osco coupon policy from September 2011.

    1. VB says:

I’m not seeing the lean cuisine cpn on the target site.

    2. VB says:

Dang it. I got excited because I am headed to target in the morning since it looks like they have the best deal on the lean cuisines. Buy 10 get a $5 gc and then throw in the cpns from Sunday but $1/1 cpns would have been a better deal. Oh well

    3. Kaylea says:

Is Avenu still working? Seems like I haven’t gotten anything there in ages…

      • rachel says:

Avenu’s on life support — I forget it’s there most of the time. You might check it if you are interested in any of the P&G catalinas, because occasionally P&G stuff shows up.

      • Tammy says:

For a few weeks, my computer wouldn’t even link me to the avenu site – it labeled it “UNSAFE” – but after getting around that, I haven’t had any offers at all!

        • grandma says:

I had the same “unsafe” warning a few weeks ago … said their “security certificate” had not been updated … today I checked my Avenu, and it says “no offers available for you at this time.”

    4. Anne says:

      Don’t see the soy sauce bogo…I only have a $1/1 :(

    5. Lorriy says:

There’s a $1/2 on any Arm & Hammer Detergent coupon in my parade section from 12/25…thank goodness hubby didn’t recycle them yet! Also there were $2 tide cpns in the main section of the Trib the same day (pg 15 maybe?).

      • Lorriy says:

So I must need more sleep than I think…the $2 Tide is in the 1/1 Trib home delivery. Again, I am grateful that hubby did not put these in the recycler yet!! :)

    6. Tara says:

Can’t find the Pull-Ups coupon on Saving Star. Anyone else having issues??? Others say “sold out”…but can’t find the PullUps at all :-(

    7. Amanda says:

HA! I just printed my Papa Charlie’s coupon for $5 and it expired 12/31/11!

    8. jamie says:

check your loose coupons, I have a $1/silk and a $1/2 poptarts that came (I think) in a box of kellogg’s cereal last year when they were really cheap and we were all buying tons of them to do the $10 Kelloggs rebate. They expire 3/31/2012

    9. Trish says:

There is a .75/1 Red Gold queso-ready tomatoes here: http://redgold.com/redgold/coupon-promotion.aspx?promo_id=84&urlcode=queso. Not sure it will work since Jewel does not adjust down, but you might be able to just get 9 free with 4 coupons…

    10. jane says:

I didn’t find the Silk q on All You site. Is it still there for you?
      (I do see Smart Balance…)

    11. Diana says:

I tried to find the Jennie-O turkey chubs BOGO and they are not listed as BOGO in the ad or in the store. Where did you find that price?

    12. cheryl says:

Just wanted to warn everyone not to buy from Sams club online. We purchased furniture from them and it’s been a total nightmare. Picture is different from items actually sent and they charged us more than prices shown online. The worst part is they are sympathetic and understand my frustration and would like to make it right but they aren’t able to do anything about it. WORST customer service I’ve ever encountered!
