Things to know at Jewel

Just a few…

  1. Check your Avenu before you go. Avenu e-coupons load onto your card when you view the page, and come off automatically at the register when you buy qualifying items. If your Avenu item is part of a Catalina deal, the pre-e-coupon price counts towards the Catalina.
  2. Also load SavingStar “electronic coupons,” which rebate back into your SavingStar account rather than coming off at the register.
  3. You’ll also want to read this on the latest Jewel Catalinas change, if you’ve been doing them there for a while.
  4. Here’s the official Jewel-Osco coupon policy from September 2011.

    1. Belinda says:

King’s Hawaiian coupon promo has already ended! :(

    2. Ella says:

If anyone got the $1.00 off coupons from the Butterball turkey deal. Get $5.00 worth of Butterball coupons for buying a turkey a little while back. I believe the $1.00 off coupons can be used on the turkey bacon.

    3. Christine says:

I got a Cat alert at Jewel today: nature valley granola bars or nut clusters (excludes granola thins) 12/26- 1/22. Buy 3 get $1, buy 4 get $2, buy 5 or more get $3 off next shopping order.

    4. Deanna says:

This weeks Valli ad, I believe, has a $1/2 nabisco crackers mq.

    5. maggie says:

Check your game pieces. I had a couple 25 cents off strawberries, so another 50 cents off 2. Every little bit helps. :)

    6. VB says:

Any idea if the huggies cat will roll?

    7. Laurac says:

If you can use ricotta cheese look for the Sorrento 32oz. My Jewel has them on clearance for 3.38. I used my $3.00 off 2 coupons for cheap ricotta. Looks like I’ll be making lasagna over the next 3 months. Jewel also has the Gillete Fusion gel 2 for $5.00. I used the $2.00 skin care coupon that expires 12/31. Looks like that coupon value may be coming down with the upcoming P&G insert so I’m happy to get the 7oz shaving cream for 50 cents.

    8. Sandra says:

The free yogurt Q wyb 10 stacks. I bought 40 today and received 4 of the free Qs and one $2 OYNO.

    9. Courtney says:

Are pull-ups included in sale only at select jewels? No shelf sale tags and rang up $10+.

    10. Sandy says:

Just got back from Jewel. I bought two of the Tide bottles (150 oz) on sale for $15.99 and used two $2.00 off coupons. I also bought the Charmin 12 roll for $6.99 and used the PG .25 coupon. I got back two $3.00 catalinas (one for each Tide) and one $1.00 catalina for the Charmin. Turns out to be pretty good prices after coupons and Cats.

    11. Kaylea says:

I had a few modest Jewel finds today — BC cookie mixes (pumpkin and snickerdoodle) clearanced to $1.00, pillsbury brownie mixes with holiday funfetti for $.89 (not sure if these are great prices, but MQs for both of these are pretty common and it’s always fun to match Qs to clearance stuff), and 3-packs of “gift wrap” scotch tape for $1.27. Also, they had singamajigs clearanced to just over $3 each….I passed. Those are good gifts for other people’s kids….

Oh, and be still my heart, I paired my cheesy .25 WBWB Qs with the wild harvest tortilla chips and farmstand baby carrots!
