Here are the best deals and coupon matchups I see at Jewel-Osco for the week of 12/1/11.

  • See all the info on the Wish Big Win Big holiday game here.
  • New $5/$25 coupon link — it let me print again with the same email I signed up with last time.
  • Info on the switch & earn prescription program is on the front of the Osco pull out. Bring in a new or transferred prescription, get a $25.00 Jewel gift card. Then fill 3 additional prescriptions and get a $25 gift Card Mall gift card of your choice. No coupon needed.

Top deals

  • Farm Stand baby carrots, BOGO at $1.49. Check your $.25 game coupons, I got a couple for these.
  • Pillsbury cake mix or plain brownies, $.99 limit 4. Use $.35/1 brownies in the 11/6 RP and they’re $.64.
  • Mrs. T’s pierogies, BOGO at $3.49. Use two $1.00/1 in the 10/2 RP and get two for $1.49, or $.75 each!

Catalina deals

  • Buy $30 participating P&G products, save $10 on your next Gift Card Mall purchase. 11/27-12/7. They are listed in the ad, use your 11/27 PG coupons, nothing here really worth the typing.

Buy five and they are $1.88 each sale, mix match must buy five

I’d also check Coupons.com tomorrow when they restock for the new month because they about always have new GM cereal coupons.

  • Cheerios (shows yellow box).
  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Use $1.00/3 in the 10/23 SS.
  • Chex Cereal. Use $1.00/2 in the 11/13 GM.
  • Cookie Crisp.
  • Trix cereal. Use $1.00/3 in the 10/23 SS.
  • Chex mix. Use $.50/2 in the 10/23 SS.
  • Bugles.
  • Gardettos.
  • Betty Crocker fruit snacks. Use $.50/2 in the 10/9 SS (exp. 12/3).
  • Quaker chewy granola bars. Which of these things is not like the other… who can tell me… do you know… if you guess which thing is not like the other, then I’ll tell you if it is so!

Things to know at Jewel

Just a few…

  1. Check your Avenu before you go. Avenu e-coupons load onto your card when you view the page, and come off automatically at the register when you buy qualifying items. If your Avenu item is part of a Catalina deal, the pre-e-coupon price counts towards the Catalina.
  2. Also load SavingStar “electronic coupons,” which rebate back into your SavingStar account rather than coming off at the register.
  3. You’ll also want to read this on the latest Jewel Catalinas change, if you’ve been doing them there for a while.
  4. Here’s the official Jewel-Osco coupon policy from September 2011.

The mix match must buy 5 sale: Quaker Oats chewy granola bars are not made by General Mills, which does make the rest of the products in this sale. Since when do they mix match manufacturers?

    2. Sandra says:

The Cole’s Q when you sign up is .50/1. It’s a bricks Q and allows 2 prints. You can get it right away after signing up. No need to do any email verification. I’m not the patient type. LOL

    3. Sandra says:

The Cole’s Q is Bricks and is .50/1. No need for email verification when you sign up so you get the Q quickly.

    4. Nadine says:

The blackberries are $3.99. I thought they were BOGO so was pleasantly surprised.

    5. Joy says:

Homelife paper towels are $1, there is $1 Homelife cleaning product coupon in the new book with the prime rib on the front. The page the coupon is on specifically mentions paper towels :)

    6. Shirley says:

Quaker chewy granola bars is a better deal at Walgreens through Sat. $1.5 each after RR.

    7. Teri says:

      Cole’s printable is $0.50/1.

Sorrento Ricotta has a great deal going on. I was at the Jewel in Oak Park this morning and 16 oz tubs are on sale for $2.99. There’s a $3 off 2 Sorrento products from SS or RP a couple months ago. So I bought 2 16 oz tubs for $5.98-$3 = $2.98 for 32 ounces of ricotta. If you don’t have the $3 off 2 coupon, there’s a $1/1 coupon on the front of the fridge where the ricotta is located. So you could use 2 $1/1 coupons and get 2 16 oz tubs for $3.98 which is pretty good. The 32 oz tubs are also on sale – I believe for $4.49 and you can use the $1/1 coupon bringing it down to $3.49 for 32 ounces. Ricotta freezes well so it’s a good time to stock up if you like making lasagnas.
