Things to know at Dominick’s
Just a few things to know:
- Dominick’s does not let you use a coupon on the “free” item in a buy one, get one free sale. They also have now decided that they won’t let you use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale to get both items for free.
- Many Dominick’s will only let you use one OYNO Catalina per transaction. Most no longer take Catalinas or Register Rewards from other stores unless they are for a specific item. Their official policy says no.
- Sign up for Just for U for additional e-coupons and “personalized savings.” You can no longer use paper coupons with JFU e-coupons. Although sometimes they randomly go through.
- Just for U common questions and answers here.
- Link to whatever the current coupon policy might be, here.
- If you shop at Safeway, Vons, Genuardi’s, or another Safeway affiliate, your prices may differ from those shown here, but Catalina deals are 90% the same. Dominick’s in Illinois no longer allows the stacking of manufacturer e-coupons with paper manufacturer coupons, and neither do many Safeways — they’re phasing it out as they roll out Just for U in your area.
- Dominick’s, unlike Jewel, gives individual stores tremendous leeway about coupon policies, so you will not see consistency between stores.

Kellogg’s raisin bran is in the target price matching section for $2.75. Still not sure what Dominick’s starting price is, but you should at least be able to pick up some boxes for $1.75 at the most…. To use Rachel’s word, this price still seems kinda ‘Meh’
At Crystal Lake Dominick’s Raisin Bran, Raisin Bran Crunch, and Corn Flakes were all $2.49 ea on the buy 5/save 5. Not great, but, if you buy 10, there is a $10 rebate here making them $1.49 ea: http://www2.kelloggs.com/AARP/rewards/
I also have a personalized price of $1.89 on the Kraft dressing. Usually the in-ad coupons come off as an amount off the card price, so it *may* make it cheaper, but who knows? I am going to try it – the most it should be is .29, possibly less.
I am going to pick up free KC marinade with doubles too
.
There are a few fun deals this week but I don’t see any chance of reaching $75!
The lactose free still is included for the Lucerne .97 price.
For anyone else who shops at Oak Park: the Pillsbury brownie mix is on Deal Match for .99 and the .35/1 from 11/6 RP will triple, making it better than free (when you buy 1 per transaction, of course).
There is a Dominicks store that triples?!
LOL, yes just the one as far as I know. They triple up to .35 and double .36-50 – one like coupon per transaction, though. They also take RRs like Jewel. They occasionally say “thanks for the coupons” to shoppers – it is the most coupon-friendly store I have ever seen. The people are really nice too. The only drawback is the store is small. But I can walk there, so I never go to any other Dom’s!
I have a rain check for cheerios at $1.44. Will it work to buy 5 and get the $5 off? Could I then use my two $1/2 and get 5 of them for free? Sounds too good to be true.
There is a .75/1 5 lb Cuties coming this weekend. It was in my local SS. There was also .45/1 2-3 lb Cuties
.
I can confirm Golden Grahams, Trix, and Cocoa Puffs at 1.79 wyb 5. I think Cinn Toast Crunch was included too but I didn’t buy those.
the cinn toast crunch was 1.79 as well. I actually bought 6 by mistake and it still took off, plus I had a lower price on the cinn crunch to make it a/b 1.00ea for 6 boxes of cereal.
The Uncle Ben’s rice pouches are 2/$3…there are $1 off Long Grain & Wild rice mq’s in 11/6 RP. Making them 50cents each. But, today I got a surprise cat for $1 oyno from Uncle Ben’s. It says buy 4-7 get $1, buy 8 get $2. That brings them down to 25cents each!
Just in case any one was wondering the price on Poptarts are 2.29 ea for the large 12ct pack. I had a couple of $1/2 coupons left from dominicks printouts, score =)
